Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating a time domain window (TDW) configuration including a start time of a TDW and a length of the TDW, where the TDW is a duration over which a network entity is scheduled to perform joint channel estimation. The UE may receive a timing advance (TA) command during the TDW indicating a TA value to apply to signaling. The UE may transmit the signaling in accordance with the TA value or independent of the TA value based on the UE prioritizing the TA adjustment or maintaining power consistency and phase continuity for DMRS bundling, respectively. The UE may determine whether to prioritize the TA adjustment or DMRS bundling for the joint channel estimation based on one or more parameters satisfying criteria.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device, such as a network entity, may transmit an indication (e.g., via control signaling) to a receiving device, such as a user equipment (UE), indicating that a secure downlink message is scheduled for transmission to the UE. The UE may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) to the network entity in response to the control signaling, and the network entity may determine a channel estimate and construct interference based on the channel estimate. The network entity may encode the secure downlink message according to an orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) precoding scheme and may add the interference to the encoded secure downlink message over a slot duration. The network entity may transmit the encoded secure downlink message, including the added interference, to the UE. The UE may decode the encoded secure downlink message based on the OTFS precoding scheme.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may receive, at a source cell served by a network entity, signaling that triggers a handover to a target cell. The UE may also receive a first set of parameters associated with the target cell, the first set of parameters indicating that the target cell is served by the network entity. The UE may then transmit, to the target cell, an uplink communication in accordance with a timing advance value for the target cell. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may identify an energy per resource element (EPRE) ratio between a synchronization signal block (SSB) symbol containing a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and an SSB symbol containing a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), or both, based on an operating band for the UE, a bandwidth of the SSB symbol containing the PSS and the SSB symbol containing the SSB, the PBCH, or both. The EPRE ratio may be based on maximum regulatory equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) limits, maximum regulatory power spectral density (PSD) limits for the band, or both. The EPRE ratios may be different for different SSB symbols, when different SSB symbols have different bandwidths. A base station may configure and transmit, and a UE may receive, the SSB according to the identified EPRE ratio.
