    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for reducing latency for closed loop sidelink communications for non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) are described. In some examples, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network entity, a message requesting an allocation of sidelink resources for the first UE and an allocation of sidelink resources for a second UE. The first UE may receive, from the network entity in response to the request message, an indication of a first set of sidelink resources for the first UE. In some examples, the first UE may transmit one or more data messages to the second UE, including an indication of a second set of sidelink resources, an indication that the network entity may directly allocate the second set of sidelink resources, or both. In some example, the first UE may receive one or more data messages from the second UE on the second set of sidelink resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless devices may support a prediction capability for prediction-based control information. A first device may receive, from a second device, first control signaling that activates the predication capability of the first device to generate a set of one or more control parameters for communications. The second device may transmit second control signaling to the first device to indicate initial values of the control parameters and a channel condition model for the first device. The first device and the second device may generate a set of multiple values associated with the control parameters over a time period based on the initial values of the control parameters and the channel condition model. The first device and the second device may communicate during at least the time period according to the set of generated values associated with the control parameters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE operating in an NTN may receive an indication of coverage information for a first cell associated with the NTN. The coverage information may indicate a coverage area supported by the first cell for wireless communications. The UE may transmit, based on location information of the UE and the coverage information, a message indicating a timing information associated with a measurement-based handover for the UE from the first cell to a second cell associated with the non-terrestrial network. For example, the message may include a recommendation for the UE to perform a non-measurement-based handover or an indication that the UE cannot complete the measurement-based handover before leaving the coverage area of the first cell.
