Abstract:
A method for transmitting an uplink signal by a communication apparatus in a wireless communication system is discussed. The method includes multiplexing control information with at least one of a plurality of data blocks to generate a bit sequence; and transmitting the uplink signal including the bit sequence. When the control information includes a first type of control data, the control information is multiplexed with all of the plurality of data blocks. When the control information includes a second type of control data, the control information is multiplexed only with a specific data block among the plurality of data blocks. The first type of control data includes acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information, and the second type of control data includes channel quality information.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting scheduling information in time-division-duplex (TDD) system is provided. The method comprises configuring a radio frame, the radio frame comprising at least one downlink subframe and at least one uplink subframe, wherein a downlink subframe is reserved for downlink transmission and an uplink subframe is reserved for uplink transmission, and transmitting scheduling information on a downlink control channel in a downlink subframe, the scheduling information comprising an uplink indicator and uplink resource assignment, the uplink indicator indicating which at least one uplink subframe the uplink resource assignment is valid for. Data can be efficiently transmitted by using an uplink indicator which indicates a specific location of a subframe.
Abstract:
A method for a power save mode operation in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system is provided. The method comprising determining a type of a receiving station (STA) indicator on the basis of the number of STAs which are associated with the AP and which intend to transmit buffered traffic; generating a traffic indicator map (TIM) element including information which indicates the receiving STA indicator and the type of the receiving STA indicator, transmitting the TIM element, receiving a poll frame for requesting data frame transmission from one STA among the STAs and transmitting the data frame to the STA.
Abstract:
A method includes transmitting a random access preamble, receiving a random access response as a response of the random access preamble, wherein the random access response comprises an uplink resource assignment and a request for transmission of a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI), and transmitting the CQI in the uplink resource assignment.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting and receiving uplink signals using an optimized rank 3 codebook is disclosed. The optimized rank 3 codebook includes 6 precoding matrix groups, each of which has 1 variable having an amplitude of 1. Preferably, the optimized 4Tx rank 3 codebook has 12 precoding matrix, two precoding matrixes are selected from each the above 6 precoding matrix groups considering chordal distance and the number of precoding matrix.
Abstract:
A method, performed by a transceiver, is described. The transceiver receives a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame to initiate channel sounding and a null data packet (NDP), the NDP following the NDPA frame. A first report field including beamforming information and a second report field including signal to noise ratio (SNR) information is configured. First feedback data including the first report field and a second report field is split into a plurality of segments. The plurality of segments is transmitted in a single aggregated medium access control protocol data unit (A-MPDU) including MPDUs. A retransmission request including a segment retransmission bitmap field indicating at least one segment of the plurality of segments for retransmission is received. In response to the retransmission request, second feedback data including the at least one segment indicated by the segment retransmission bitmap field is transmitted.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of transmitting a reference signal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes generating a precoded reference signal or a non-precoded reference signal in accordance with a rank, and transmitting the generated reference signal. Uplink transmission using multiple transmit antennas is supported through reference signal design and related control signaling.

Abstract:
A method of transmitting a frame in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system is provided. The method includes receiving, by a first station, information about an association identifier (AID) from an access point, the AID identifying the first station in the WLAN system; transmitting, by the first station, a Direct Link Setup (DLS) request frame to a second station to request a setup for a direct link with the second station, the DLS request frame including the AID of the first station; receiving, by the first station, a DLS response frame from the second station in response to the DLS request frame, the DLS response frame including an AID of the second station; and transmitting, by the first station, a Physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) to the second station or the access point.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting information of resources for use in transmission of ACK/NACK signals in a mobile communication system is disclosed. An example method for receiving ACK/NACK signals in a mobile communication system is also disclosed. When resources for transmission of data and resources for transmission of control information of the data are scheduled through virtual unit resources, the method identifies information of resources for receiving an ACK/NACK signal for transmission data mapped to information of at least one of a virtual unit resource allocated to the transmission data and a virtual unit resource allocated to control information of the transmission data, and receives the ACK/NACK signal for the transmission data through the information of resources for receiving the ACK/NACK signal.
