Abstract: One or more servers store data defining a trust domain among a plurality of entities that participate in supporting a multimedia communication session, each of the plurality of entities having at least one network device that is involved in handling traffic or control signaling for the multimedia communication session. The one or more servers receive from one or more network devices associated with each of the plurality of entities session data generated by the respective network devices in supporting the multimedia communication session. The one or more servers log the session data received from the network devices of the plurality of entities of the trust domain as a blockchain transaction, and share logged session data with one or more devices associated with at least one of the plurality of entities of the trust domain.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques to perform call failure diagnostics. A method includes receiving, at a network device, an indication of calls-of-interest, detecting, at the network device, a failure of one of the calls-of-interest, triggering, in response to the detecting, at the network device, diagnostics data analysis of data associated with the failure of one of the calls-of-interest, determining, based on the diagnostics data analysis, a cause of the failure of the one of the calls-of-interest, and notifying, by the network device, a management system of the cause of the failure of the one of the calls-of-interest and of recent configuration changes on the network device that are related to the cause of the failure of the one of the calls-of-interest.

Abstract: Methods are provided in which a computing device obtains telemetry data associated with a network technology used in an enterprise network and an enterprise network profile that includes information about the complexity of the enterprise network. The network technology is deployed at one or more devices of the enterprise network. The methods further include the computing device determining, based on the telemetry data, for each deployment of the network technology, a current stage from a plurality of stages of an adoption lifecycle to which the network technology progressed, determining a time estimate for completing the current stage of the adoption lifecycle, based on the enterprise network profile and an adoption benchmark generated from a plurality of activities performed for progressing along the adoption lifecycle, and evaluating an adoption of the network technology, using the time estimate, to progress the network technology along the lifecycle.

Abstract: A system and method for creating a context-aware, conversational chat bot or agent in multi-party conversations where participants have different levels of security access to information and the bot operates in one or more modes depending on the business context of the multi-user collaboration virtual workspace. The methods include adding a bot, as a participant, to a virtual workspace that is a multi-user collaboration workspace, obtaining, at a bot application server, context of the virtual workspace, setting, by the bot application server, a skill set for the bot from among a plurality of skill sets. The skill set varies based on the context of the virtual workspace. The methods further include configuring, by the bot application server, the bot to perform at least one task in the virtual workspace based on the skill set.

Abstract: A system for switching from a first communication session between two endpoints to a secondary communication session when media degradation is detected is disclosed. A first endpoint is included within a first enterprise network and a second endpoint is included within a second enterprise network. The first enterprise network includes a call controller and a plurality of session border controllers (SBCs). The SBC in the first communication session detects media degradation and notifies the first endpoint of the media degradation. The first endpoint directs the call controller to establish a secondary communication session with the second endpoint when there is sufficient media degradation. The call controller directs a second SBC to establish the secondary communication session with the second endpoint. When the secondary communication session is established, the call controller directs the first endpoint to send media data using the second SBC.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for orchestrating data center resources and user access to data. In some examples, a system can determine, at a first time, that a user will need, at a second time, access to data stored at a first location, from a second location. The system can identify a node which is capable of storing the data and accessible by a device from the second location. The system can also determine a first service parameter associated with a network connection between the device and the first location and a second service parameter associated with a network connection between the device and the node. When the second service parameter has a higher quality than the first service parameter, the system can migrate the data from the first location to the node so the device has access to the data from the second location through the node.

Abstract: An example method includes establishing a communication session between a first participant and a second participant, programming, via a control plane, a stream classifier which is to process packets associated with the communication session with classification logic. The method includes receiving a first packet at the stream classifier and, when the communication session requires recording, applying the classification logic at the stream classifier to route the first packet into a chosen service function path that includes a recording service function which reports media quality data to the control plane. Based on the media quality data, the classification logic is updated to cause a migration of the communication session to a new chosen service function path.
