A storage control system includes controller units 130A and 130B for performing processing for data I/O to/from drives 150 and 160 in response to a data I/O request from a host device 100, switches 140A and 140B connecting the controller units 130A and 130B and the drives 150 and 160, and a port selector 300 inserted between the switches 140A and 140B and the drive 160. The port selector 300, when receiving a command generated based on processing performed by an MPU 131, accesses a target drive 160 if that data that forms a command is valid. Meanwhile, if the port selector 300 detects logical command inconsistency, the port selector 300 forwards that detection result to the MPU 131 via the switch 140A or 140B and requests retry processing from the MPU 131.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus receives a print request and image information data from a terminal device connected to it via a network and executes a print job. The print job processing status is stored in a non-volatile memory. When the power to the printer is restored after being terminated, where print jobs that have not yet been processed are determined to exist after reference to the print job processing status stored in the non-volatile memory. The terminal device that requested said print job is requested to resend the image information data for that print job. Therefore, if the terminal device is constructed such that it receives the resend request and resends the image information data, the image forming apparatus can smoothly execute the non-processed print jobs based on the resent image information data.

    摘要: A light modulation type photointerrupter of the present invention includes: a light source that emits a light pulse to a transit area where an object transits; a driving circuit that drives the light source to emit the light pulse; a photoreceptor that converts the light pulse from the transit area into a pulse current and outputs the pulse current; an integrating circuit that integrates a pulse signal resulting from the pulse current and outputs a result of the integration, the integrating circuit having different time constants at a rise and at a fall of the pulse signal; and a detecting circuit that detects, based upon the output from the integrating circuit, presence or absence of the object in the transit area. In the above structure, the light source is driven to emit a pulse. This reduces the loss of power in the light emitter and the consumption of the current. Moreover, the object can be detected by using a simply structured integrating circuit. Therefore, cost can be reduced.

    摘要: A dropper-type DC stabilized power supply circuit is arranged such that a power transistor is connected in series with a power source line, a first difference amplifier compares (i) a feedback value acquired by dividing an output voltage with (ii) a reference voltage. The first difference amplifier controls the base current of the power transistor with reference to the difference above so as to stabilize the output voltage. This DC stabilized power supply circuit is additionally provided with second and third difference amplifiers having respective offset voltages in inputs thereof. When the output voltage surpasses a predetermined voltage level, the second difference amplifier restrains the base current. On the contrary, when the output voltage falls below a predetermined voltage level, the third difference amplifier increases a bias current of the first difference amplifier so as to increase the gain.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition in a unit dosage form for peroral administration in a human or lower animal, having a gastrointestinal tract comprising a small intestine and a colon with a lumen therethrough having an inlet to the colon from the small intestine, comprising: a. a safe and effective amount of rapidly dissolving bisacodyl incorporated into a compressed, bi-convex tablet, with a maximum diameter of about 4 mm to about 10 mm; b. a non-pH dependent smoothing coat applied to the tablet to provide a smooth tablet surface free from edges and sharp curves; and c. an enteric polymer coating material comprising at least one inner coating layer and only one outer coating layer; wherein the rapidly dissolving bisacodyl is released at a point near the inlet to, or within the colon; each of the inner coating layer(s) is an enteric polymer that begins to dissolve in an aqueous media at a pH between about 5 to about 6.3; and the outer coating layer is an enteric polymer that begins to dissolve in an aqueous media at a pH between about 6.8 to about 7.2.
