    Abstract: In an aspect, a method of encoding data for transmission includes reading, for a block of encoded data on which interleaving and rate-matching is to be performed, the block of encoded data from a buffer, by first and second interleaving and rate matching engines operating in parallel and, starting at first and second starting points of the buffer, respectively. Encoded output data includes the interleaved and rate matched data from both engines. In another aspect, a method of decoding received data includes reading data of a log likelihood ratio (LLR) buffer, by first and second de-interleaving and de-rate matching engines, starting at first and second starting points of the LLR buffer, respectively. Decoded output data includes de-interleaved and de-rate matched data of both engines.

    Abstract: A device for decoding video data is configured to determine, based on a chroma sampling format for the video data, that adaptive color transform is enabled for one or more blocks of the video data; determine a quantization parameter for the one or more blocks based on determining that the adaptive color transform is enabled; and dequantize transform coefficients based on the determined quantization parameter. A device for decoding video data is configured to determine for one or more blocks of the video data that adaptive color transform is enabled; receive in a picture parameter set, one or more offset values in response to adaptive color transform being enabled; determine a quantization parameter for a first color component of a first color space based on a first of the one or more offset values; and dequantize transform coefficients based on the quantization parameter.

    Abstract: Sign prediction technology for video coding are generally described. An example device includes a memory configured to store video data, and processing circuitry in communication with the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to determine that a block of the video data stored to the memory is eligible to be coded using sign prediction, to perform the sign prediction with respect to one or more transform coefficients of the block only if the block meets a predetermined criterion, wherein the predetermined criterion is based on at least one of: a width of the block, a height of the block, a coding mode used to code the block, or a position of one or more sign-predicted transform coefficients within the block, and to code the block based on the sign prediction performed with respect to the block.
