摘要: A quadrotor UAV including ruggedized, integral-battery, load-bearing body, two arms on the load-bearing body, each arm having two rotors, a control module mounted on the load-bearing body, a payload module mounted on the control module, and skids configured as landing gear. The two arms are replaceable with arms having wheels for ground vehicle use, with arms having floats and props for water-surface use, and with arms having pitch-controlled props for underwater use. The control module is configured to operate as an unmanned aerial vehicle, an unmanned ground vehicle, an unmanned (water) surface vehicle, and an unmanned underwater vehicle, depending on the type of arms that are attached.

摘要: A vent valve includes a vent body including an outlet and at least one inlet, a main chamber, a main closable device movable from an open position to allow fluidic communication between the main chamber and the outlet, to a closed position to block fluidic communication between the main chamber and the outlet, and a first tubing having a first end and a second end, the first end connected to a first inlet, the second end spaced from the vent body, the first tubing further including a first closable device adjacent the second end. The first closable device allows fluidic communication between an exterior of the first tubing and an interior of the first tubing in a first orientation of the vent valve, and blocks fluidic communication between the exterior of the first tubing and the interior of the first tubing in a second orientation of the vent valve.

The coating is an elastomeric polymer coating having sufficient elasticity to so as return to the coating to an approximate original shape after the projectile has passed through the coating. Further, the coating is configured to hold the reservoir together following severe damage from the projectile.

摘要: A solar powered wheel apparatus comprising one or more photovoltaic cells housed on a rotatable element connected to a rotary object such as a wheel, an electric motor, and an axial shaft. The electric motor is in electric communication with the photovoltaic cells that power the electric motor and is rigidly connected to the rotatable element that houses the photovoltaic cells. The axial shaft is rotatably connected to the electric motor and rigidly connected to a support structure of the rotary object. The electric motor converts electrical energy produced by the photovoltaic cells into mechanical energy causing the electric motor to rotate about the axial shaft. The rotation of the electric motor rotates the rigidly connected rotatable element that houses the photovoltaic cells. The rotation of the rotatable element housing the photovoltaic cells removes heat from the photovoltaic cells and causes rotation of the connected rotary object.
