    Abstract: The invention relates to a refrigerant circuit (10) of a vehicle air-conditioning system (12), in particular for electric vehicles, comprising a compressor unit (14) which includes a first compressor (16) and a second compressor (18) arranged downstream for compressing a refrigerant (20), a condenser (22) for heating air (24) which can be supplied to a vehicle interior, a first pressure reducing unit (26) arranged downstream of the condenser (22) for decompressing the refrigerant (20) from the condenser (22), a heat exchanger (28) through which refrigerant flows for heat exchange with vehicle ambient air (30), an evaporator (32) for cooling air (24) which can be supplied to a vehicle interior, and a second pressure reducing unit (34) arranged upstream of the evaporator (32) for decompressing the refrigerant (20) from the heat exchanger (28), the second compressor (18), the condenser (22) and the first pressure reducing unit (26) being bypassed in a cooling mode of the vehicle air-conditioning system (12), and the evaporator (32) and the second pressure reducing unit (34) being bypassed in a heating mode of the vehicle air-conditioning system (12). The invention furthermore relates to a method of air-conditioning a vehicle interior, in particular by means of the refrigerant circuit (10) described above.

    Abstract: A flange cover mounting and dismounting device, which comprises: a base part, comprising a fastener element with a fastener hole array, and being fastened on a flange cover mounting surface by the fastener hole array; and a jib arm assembly, having a first end being pivotally connected to the fastener element, and a second end being connected to the flange cover. The flange cover mounting and dismounting device can be fixed to the flange cover mounting surface having a corresponding fastener hole array, which is convenient for mounting and dismounting a flange cover. In addition, under most circumstances, the fastener hole array on the flange cover mounting surface is intrinsically owned by the devices, which originally can be applied to connect modules of each device or used for other applications.

    Abstract: A vehicle arrangement (20) for thawing thermal energy from and/or rejecting thermal energy to a plurality of components in a vehicle, the arrangement comprising a heat-pump assembly (12) comprising a first heat-pump section (18) at a first temperature and a second heat-pump section (22) at a second temperature different from the first temperature, and a first thermal energy distribution path (26) for transporting a first carrier fluid and extending through at least a portion of the first heat-pump section (18), and a second thermal energy distribution path (28) for transporting a second carrier fluid and extending through at least a portion of the second heat-pump section (22). The arrangement further comprises a first circulation pump (32) associated with the first thermal energy distribution path (26) for pumping the first carrier fluid around the first thermal energy distribution path and a second circulation pump (34) associated with the second thermal energy distribution path (28) for pumping the second carrier fluid around the second thermal energy distribution path. In addition the system comprises means (78-100) for selectively connecting at least one of the plurality of vehicle components to at least one of the thermal energy distribution paths so as to draw thermal energy from and/or reject thermal energy to said vehicle component or components.

    Abstract: An air conditioning system for motor-vehicles includes a thermally controlled expansion valve unit for regulating the expansion of the fluid upstream of the evaporator, depending upon the temperature downstream of the evaporator. An intermediate heat exchanger provides a heat exchange between the conduit upstream of the evaporator and the conduit downstream of the evaporator. The expansion valve unit is arranged in such a way that its temperature sensor detects a temperature of the fluid along the conduit downstream of the evaporator at a portion of this conduit which is located downstream also with respect to the intermediate heat exchanger. A connecting flange is interposed between the evaporator and the thermally controlled expansion valve unit.
