Abstract: A system includes a refrigeration circuit, low-temperature circuit and controller. The refrigeration circuit includes: a tiller for absorbing heat from a colling water to a refrigerant; and a condenser for releasing heat from the refrigerant to an outside, and realizes a refrigeration cycle by circulating the refrigerant therethrough. The low-temperature circuit includes the tiller and an external heat exchanger for absorbing heat from an outside to the first heat medium, and circulate the cooling water therethrough. The controller can change a heat absorption amount of the refrigerant at the tiller. The controller controls the device so that a change in the heat absorption amount of the refrigerant at the first heat exchanger in accordance with a change in a temperature of the first heat medium is reduced, if the temperature of the cooling water flowing through the first heat exchanger changes by a reference value or more.

Abstract: A vehicular air conditioner includes a refrigeration cycle system, a high-temperature heat medium circuit, and a low-temperature heat medium circuit. The high-temperature heat medium circuit includes an air-heat medium heat exchanger, a heater core, a branching portion, a common passage, a flow rate adjuster, and an auxiliary heat source. The air-heat medium heat exchanger exchanges heat between the heat medium and an outside air. The heater core is arranged parallel to the air-heat medium heat exchanger and causes the heat medium to transfer heat to a ventilation air. The branching portion divides a flow of the heat medium into a flow toward the air-heat medium heat exchanger and a flow toward the heater core. The auxiliary heat source is arranged in the common passage at a position upstream of the branching portion.

Abstract: A vehicle air-conditioning apparatus heat pump system configured so that an excessive increase in the temperature (superheat degree) of refrigerant discharged from a compressor can be prevented in air-heating operation. The heat pump system (HP) includes a compressor (C) and an indoor heat exchanger (HXC2) on a refrigerant circuit (RC). A first branched flow path (BC1) on which a first expansion mechanism (EX1) with an adjustable opening degree and a first heat absorption heat exchanger (HXA1) are arranged in series and a second branched flow path (BC2) on which a second expansion mechanism (EX2) with an adjustable opening degree and a second heat absorption heat exchanger (HXA2) are arranged in series, where the first branched flow path (BC1) and the second branched flow path (BC2) are arranged in parallel on the refrigerant circuit extending from the indoor heat exchanger to the compressor.

Abstract: An air cooling system for a vehicle engine includes an air intake configured to receive intake air for delivery to the engine, a first coolant loop thermally coupled to the air intake to provide cooling to the intake air, and a pump for circulating coolant through the first coolant loop. A second coolant loop is thermally coupled to the air intake to provide further cooling to the intake air, and undergoes a vapor compression cycle. A compressor circulates coolant through the second coolant loop. The first and second coolant loops are separate loops using a common condenser. A passive variable charge enabler assembly is configured to remove coolant circulating in the system when the compressor is on.

A climate system includes a plurality of compressors, a first heat exchanger disposed downstream of the compressors and a second heat exchanger disposed downstream of the first heat exchanger. The compressors and heat exchangers are fluidly connected by refrigerant lines to form a refrigerant circuit. The climate system also includes a controller that controls the operation of the compressors to draw back lubricant to the compressors without use of an oil equalization system.
