Abstract: A handover method in a mobile CCN. In the method, when detecting a UE performing a handover, a source local CCNx node caches data directed to the UE. The source local CCNx node transmits a request to stop transmission of the data directed to the UE to a target local CCNx node based on a condition. The target local CCNx node requests the source local CCNx node to stop transmission of contents that are being cached. The source local CCNx node transmits cached contents to the target local CCNx node. The target local CCNx node requests a CCNx entry node to stop transmission of specific contents based on a condition. The CCNx entry node transmits contents to the target local CCNx node. When detecting, the UE completing the handover, the target local CCNx node transmits the contents received from the CCNx entry node to the UE.

Abstract: A Content Centric Network (CCN) communication method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes managing a Forwarding Information Base (FIB) indicating destinations to forward an interest message that requests content, which is performed by a CCN node, wherein the FIB includes at least one of a name prefix field indicating a content name, a face list field indicating destinations to forward an interest that requests content with the content name, and a congestion impact field indicating a relative time taken to receive the content from a corresponding destination in response to the interest message, receiving a first interest message, and forwarding the first interest message to at least one destination node determined by taking into account the congestion impact field.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting a handover through the Internet. A source proxy performs receiving, through an eNB from a UE, a connection request to a server, establishing a first TCP session with an anchor proxy designated for the server, and transferring data received from the server through the first TCP session, receiving a handover preparation notification including an IP address of the UE from the eNB, as the UE is handed over to a target eNB; transferring session information associated with the first TCP session and information associated with a target proxy related with the target base station; transferring, to the target proxy, the session information associated with the first TCP session, and when a handover start notification is received from the eNB, freezing the first TCP session, and transferring, to the target proxy, state information associated with data being transmitted through the first TCP session.

Abstract: A method for controlling data flow by a proxy server connected between a User Equipment (UE) and a content server is disclosed. The proxy server estimates a first amount of data reception indicating an amount of data received by the UE and calculates a second amount of data reception indicating an amount of data received by the proxy server from the content server. The proxy server delays transmission of acknowledgement (ACK) on data received by the proxy server from the content server and waits until a time allowed for the transmission, if the second amount of data reception is greater than the first amount of data reception by a predetermined threshold. The resent disclosure may prevent a waste of network load and unnecessary resources by the proxy server controlling download data rate from the content server.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for providing a web service in a wireless communication system. The apparatus for providing the web service includes: a proxy unit receiving/sending data through the internet; a packet data conversion protocol (PDCP) unit producing and outputting at least one PDCP protocol data unit (PDU) by using the data; and a control unit monitoring the data received from the proxy unit and controlling the proxy unit to transmit data of a size acceptable by the PDCP unit on the basis of the data capacity of the PDCP unit.
