摘要: To minimize a pedal operation of a driver and to provide convenience of driving by flexibly controlling a maximum creep speed during a creep driving in a traffic congestion section, a vehicle includes: a radar configured to obtain speed information of a preceding vehicle and distance information to the preceding vehicle; a sensor configured to acquire behavior information of the vehicle; a controller configured to determine whether or not the vehicle has entered the traffic congestion section based on the behavior information of the vehicle, to determine a safety distance and a surplus distance related to the preceding vehicle, to determine a maximum creep speed and a creep torque based on the surplus distance, and to control operation of at least one of a motor or an engine to transmit the creep torque to a wheel of the vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed are a hybrid electric vehicle, which may be effectively launched when an engine clutch to connect an engine and an electric motor for driving is fixed in a lock-up state, and a method of controlling the same. A method of controlling launch of a the hybrid electric vehicle provided with an engine clutch disposed between a first motor and an engine includes determining whether or not the engine clutch is in a lock-up state, securing running of the engine, upon determining that the engine clutch is in the lock-up state, executing slip launch of the hybrid electric vehicle using power of the engine, and launching the hybrid electric vehicle using power of the first motor, if first conditions by stall of the engine are satisfied. Execution of slip launch of the hybrid electric vehicle includes charging a main battery using a second motor connected to the engine.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a terrain driving mode of a hybrid vehicle, including defining demand torque required for vehicle driving depending on driver demand and an environment of a driving road, differentiating demand torque in response to the terrain driving mode, calculating accumulated driving energy from a time point of an operation in the terrain driving mode based on the differentiated demand torque, and determining a terrain driving method based on the calculated accumulated driving energy and a state of energy (SoE) in consideration of a state of charge (SoC) and a voltage condition of a battery cell.

摘要: Disclosed is a system and method for determining when an engine of a hybrid electric vehicle has abnormally stalled. In particular, a control unit is configured to determine whether an entry condition has been satisfied before determining whether the engine stalled. Then once it is determined that the engine has stalled, the control unit increase a stall count and monitors whether the engine enters a normal operation state. If the engine enters a normal state, the control unit decreases the stall count. However, when the stall count is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value it is determined that the engine is out of order. Thus, it can be clearly identified when an engine has stalled abnormally and over-discharging of the battery may be avoided.
