Abstract:
Disclosed are methods for service discovery in a wireless personal area communication network. A method for service discovery, performed in a terminal, the method comprises performing a passive scan for searching a specific service based on whether to receive a frame including a specific service identifier; and, when it fails to search the specific service, performing an active scan which broadcasts a service discovery request command frame for searching the specific service. Thus, service discovery may be efficiently performed by reducing the operation complexity of the terminal and minimizing the power consumption of the terminal needed for service discovery, without support of a upper layer.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for allocating a management resource of a channel of a node that is included in a wireless personal area network (WPAN) are provided. A resource of a channel performs communication with a specific node using a multi-superframe including a plurality of superframes, limits a position area of a time slot including a channel that is allocated to communication with a specific node to a predetermined superframe of the plurality of superframes, gives a logical connection ID to the time slot, and is allocated by matching the logical connection ID and a management resource that manages the time slot.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for radio communication of a time sensitive network. The method includes dividing, by the first node, a frame into a downlink section and an uplink section, transmitting, by the first node, downlink data to at least one second node in units of slots in the downlink section, and receiving, by the first node, uplink data from the at least one second node in units of slots in the uplink period.
Abstract:
A mobile ad-hoc routing apparatus includes a first communication module and a second communication module configured to transmit and receive data through a first communication band and a second communication band, respectively, a memory configured to store a program for transmitting and receiving the data, and a processor configured to execute the program stored in the memory, wherein when the program is executed, the processor receives first control information broadcast by one or more neighboring nodes via the first communication module and stores the first control information in the memory, wherein the first control information includes current position and communication status information of the neighboring node, the processor updates information on the neighboring node on the basis of the first control information, generates packet forwarding information which includes information on a node which currently allows packet data to be transmitted based on the updated information on the neighboring node, and stores the generated packet forwarding information in the memory, and the processor determines a subsequent node which allows the packet data to be transmitted to a destination node on the basis of the packet forwarding information and transmits the packet data to the subsequent node via the second communication module.
Abstract:
A method of configuring a multi-superframe is provided. The method includes setting at least one parameter for configuring the multi-superframe, and configuring the multi-superframe corresponding to the at least one parameter, wherein the at least one parameter includes a superframe order (SO), a beacon order (BO), and a multi-superframe order (MO), in a form of positive integers, and the setting includes setting the MO to have a value higher than the BO.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for relaying messages in LPWAN. An operation method of a terminal may comprise transmitting a first join request message to a base station without IQ inversion; when a number of failed transmissions of the first join request message is greater than or equal to a preconfigured threshold, transmitting an IQ-inverted second join request message to a relay; and receiving a join response message from the relay that is a response to the second join request message. Accordingly, the performance of the communication system can be improved.
Abstract:
An operation method of a server in a communication network includes receiving a connection request message from each of a plurality of gateways connected to the server; identifying a service level of a terminal that has transmitted the connection request message based on information included in the connection request message; selecting a first gateway corresponding to the service level among the plurality of gateways as a gateway to which the terminal is to be connected; and transmitting a connection approval message, which is a response to the connection request message, to the terminal through the first gateway.
Abstract:
A wireless communication method using a control channel between wireless communication devices including: exchanging profile information between a node and intermediate relay nodes therearound so as to allow the node to transmit/receive data to/from a destination node; determining, by the node, a first intermediate relay node using the profile information and determining a wireless communication mode with the first intermediate relay node; and transmitting/receiving data between the node and the first intermediate relay node by the determined wireless communication mode is provided.
Abstract:
A received signal strength indicator is provided. The received signal strength indicator includes a plurality of differential amplifiers forming an amplifier chain for amplifying differential signals and a plurality of rectifiers for rectifying signals output from the plurality of differential amplifiers and the differential signals, and a low pass filter for combining the signals rectified by the plurality of rectifiers to output received signal strength. Each rectifier includes a class AB voltage-current converter for converting a differential voltage into a current, and two triode transistors.
