Abstract: There is provided an AI-based air damper control system and method for industrial boilers. An AI-based optimal air damper control method according to an embodiment calculates energy efficiency under a given control condition and an environment by extracting energy efficiency-related data from industrial boiler operational data and analyzing a correlation between corresponding data, trains an AI-based optimal air volume-for-load prediction model by using the extracted data and the calculated energy efficiency as training data, and derives an air volume condition that results in peak energy efficiency under a given load, based on the trained optimal air volume-for-load prediction model, and automatically controls the air damper according to the corresponding air volume condition.

Abstract: There is provided a communication chip package integrating an antenna and a heat dissipation ground. In the integrated package according to an embodiment, a heat dissipation ground is coupled to a high frequency communication chip package, an antenna patch is directly disposed on an upper portion of a mold of a ceramic material, changes are made to the structure of the ceramic mold to minimize a wire bonding length to a communication chip, a capacitive power feeding method is applied through a sidewall of the ceramic mold, and heat is discharged through a lower portion of the package and also through a PCB or an additional heat dissipation structure of a lower portion of the PCB. Accordingly, an insertion loss may be minimized and an effect of heat dissipation may be maximized.

Abstract: A binder for a lithium-sulfur electrode is proposed. The binder can improve the capacity and lifespan characteristics of a lithium-sulfur secondary battery by suppressing the shuttle reaction due to the elution of polysulfide through the interaction of lithium polysulfide while maintaining the binding characteristics of the binder. This binder may be used for a positive electrode and a lithium-sulfur secondary battery. The binder may include a modified polyvinylidene fluoride (PVdF)-based binder that is soluble in an organic solvent. The modified PVdF-based binder may include a PVdF-based main chain and a functional group having a carboxylic group or carbonyl group grafted as a side chain.

Abstract: There is provided a method for dividing query computations and scheduling for CSDs in a DB system in which a plurality of CSDs are used as a storage. A scheduling method according to an embodiment includes: selecting one of a plurality of scheduling polices; selecting a CSD to which snippets included in a group are delivered according to the selected scheduling policy; and delivering the snippets to the selected CSD, and the scheduling polices are polices for selecting CSDs to which snippets are delivered, based on different criteria. Accordingly, CSDs may be randomly selected according to user setting or a query execution environment, or an optimal CSD may be selected according to a CSD status or a content of an offload snippet, so that a query execution speed can be enhanced.
