Abstract: The described technology relates to a hand gesture recognition sensor. In one aspect, the hand gesture recognition sensor includes at least one strain unit configured to measure a physical change in an epidermis of a human body. The hand gesture recognition sensor also includes at least one bump unit located in a measurement direction of the at least one strain unit so as not to overlap the at least one strain unit, the at least one bump unit configured to amplify the physical change.

Abstract: Provided are a flexible tactile sensor and a method for manufacturing the same. The flexible tactile sensor includes a polymer layer, a first metal layer formed over the polymer layer and a first sensor layer formed over the first metal layer, the first sensor layer comprising a strain gauge configured to change its resistance according to a first strain and a metal wire connected to the strain gauge. The flexible tactile sensor also includes a first cover layer configured to protect the first sensor layer, a second metal layer formed under the polymer layer, a second sensor layer formed under the second metal layer. The second sensor layer includes a strain gauge configured to change its resistance according to a second strain and a metal wire connected to the strain gauge of the second metal layer and a second cover layer configured to protect the second sensor layer.

Abstract: A conductive yarn pressure sensor is proposed. The pressure sensor may include a porous fiber layer having predetermined cavities formed therein. The pressure sensor may also include a first sensing electrode made of a first conductive yarn formed on one surface of the porous fiber layer, and a second sensing electrode made of a second conductive yarn formed on the other surface of the porous fiber layer. The first sensing electrode or the second sensing electrode may be provided so as to be in contact with each other in the cavities of the porous fiber layer due to external pressure. According to an embodiment, by having conductive yarn in flexible clothing or textile material, pressure can be sensed by effectively responding to deformation due to external pressure.
