Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reporting a downlink channel state to a serving Base Station (BS) at a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system in which each of N (N is an integer equal to or larger than 2) BSs transmits one or more independent layers to the UE are disclosed. The method includes receiving configuration information about a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) process including CSI-RS resource i (i=0, . . . , N—1) and one channel state information interference measurement (CSI-IM) resource, the CSI-RS resource i being allocated to BS i from among the N BSs, performing channel measurement in CSI-RS resource i to measure downlink channel Hi from BS i, and transmitting, to the serving BS, a channel state report including a precoding matrix index i (PMIi) and a rank indicator i (RIi), which maximize throughput of downlink channels from the N BSs, and/or a channel quality indicator i (CQIi). The RIi may range from 0 to Lmax and Lmax is a maximum number of layers which the UE is able to receive.

More particularly, the method comprises a step of transmitting a downlink signal based on a precoding matrix (W) for an antenna comprising a plurality of antenna elements aligned perpendicularly, wherein the precoding matrix (W) corresponds to a codebook configured so that phase increase is limited with respect to a plurality of precoding vector values populating a same column.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method by which a terminal feeds back channel state information for downlink transmission in a wireless communication system supporting multiple antennas. More specifically, the present invention comprises a step of transmitting a first precoding matrix index (PMI) and a second PMI for each sub-band, wherein a precoding matrix preferred by the terminal is instructed to combine the first PMI and the second PMI, and a precoding codebook in which a portion of a plurality of bits forming the second PMI is additionally used to form the first PMI is applied.

A method for receiving information for interference cancellation of a user equipment (UE) includes detecting downlink control information including interference control information for a specific resource block (RB) scheduled for the UE by using an index of the specific RB, wherein the interference control information for the specific RB includes control information related to interference signal in the specific RB and indicates that the interference control information for the specific RB is the same as interference control information for one or more RBs having a series of indices subsequent to the index of the specific RB, and performing cancellation of interference signal corresponding to the interference control information in the specific RB and the one or more RBs using the interference control information for the specific RB.
Abstract:
A method for link adaptation in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) and including measuring a channel state at a first time instance, reporting a measurement value of the channel state, and receiving scheduling based on the reported measurement value of the channel state from a serving base station at a second time instance. Traffic generation of a neighboring base station is restricted at least between the first time instance and the second time instance to accord the reported measurement value of the channel state with a channel state at the second time instance.

A method and an apparatus of transmitting scheduling request (SR) in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes configuring a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) for a SR in a subframe, the subframe comprising a plurality of single carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) symbols, wherein one SC-FDMA symbol on the PUCCH is punctured and transmitting the SR on the PUCCH in the subframe.
Abstract:
A method of reporting a channel state to a base station supporting downlink multiple input multiple output (MIMO) in a wireless communication system includes measuring a downlink channel based on a downlink signal received from the base station, and reporting a codebook index for precoding of the downlink signal according to the measurement of the downlink channel. In the case in which the UE receives channel state information (CSI)-reference signal (RS) resources for N1 antenna ports, if a report for N2 (N1>N2) antenna ports is set, a codebook for the N2 antenna ports is configured as a subset of a codebook for the N1 antenna ports configured by the base station. Information about the N2 antenna ports is received from the base station.
