    Abstract: An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus according to the present disclosure includes determining whether to use an advanced temporal motion vector predictor (ATMVP) candidate of sub-block unit for a current block, specifying a corresponding block corresponding to the current block in a reference picture based on a motion vector for a spatial neighboring block of the current block when the ATMVP candidate of the sub-block unit is used, deriving the ATMVP candidate of the sub-block unit for the current block based on motion vectors of sub-block unit of the corresponding block, constructing a merge candidate list including the ATMVP candidate of the sub-block unit for the current block, generating prediction samples of the current block by deriving motion vectors of the sub-block unit for the current block based on the merge candidate list and reconstructing a current picture based on the prediction samples of the current block.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for encoding/decoding a video signal and an apparatus for the method. More specifically, a method for decoding a video signal comprises generating a residual block of a current block by performing entropy decoding on the video signal; if size of the current block is smaller than a predetermined first size, parsing a transform skip flag which indicates whether a transform skip is applied to the current block; determining whether to parse a primary transform flag which indicates whether a primary transform is applied to the current block; if it is determined to parse the primary transform flag, parsing the primary transform flag; and if the primary transform flag indicates that a primary transform is applied to the current block, generating a primary inverse transformed transform block of the current block by performing a primary inverse transform to the residual block.

    Abstract: A video decoding method comprises: deriving L0 and L1 motion vectors of a current block; deriving decoder-side motion vector refinement (DMVR) flag information indicating whether to apply a DMVR to the current block; when the DMVR flag information indicates that the DMVR is to be applied to the current block, deriving refined L0 and L1 motion vectors based on the L0 and L1 motion vectors by applying the DMVR to the current block; deriving prediction samples of the current block based on the refined L0 and L1 motion vectors; and generating reconstructed samples of the current block based on the predicted samples, wherein deriving DMVR flag information comprises deriving the DMVR flag information by applying the DMVR to the current block when the height of the current block is 8 or more, and when the values of L0 and L1 luma weighted prediction flag information are both 0.
