Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a central unit (CU) may transmit, to a first wireless node, an indication of a traffic flow configuration associated with a traffic flow on a traffic path that includes the first wireless node and a second wireless node. The CU may transmit, to the first wireless node, energy-saving scheduling information indicating one or more periods in which to use the traffic flow configuration for the traffic flow on the traffic path. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support network controlled repeater operation at new radio—unlicensed (NRU) bands. The network controlled repeater operations include receipt of a scheduling message from a serving base station that identifies an amplify and forward (AF) window and an offset prior to a beginning of the AF window. The relay node performs a listen before talk (LBT) procedure on a shared communication channel within the offset. In response to the result of the LBT, the relay node either refrains from AF operations within the AF window in response to failure of the LBT procedure or performs the AF operations on all received signals during the AF window in response to success of the LBT procedure. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the disclosure relate to enhanced load reporting between network entities (e.g., provided by a distributed unit (DU) to a centralized unit (CU) or by a CU to another CU). In some examples, the CU may provide one or more triggering events which may be used by the DU (or a second CU) to trigger the provisioning of a load report to the CU. Accordingly, the DU (or second CU) may be able to initiate a load report without relying on periodic reporting criteria. In some examples, the DU may initiate a load report to the CU without being configured with triggering events. In some examples, a DU may report measurements made associated with a communications load involving communications with both a parent network entity (e.g., a CU) and at least one child network entity (e.g., a user equipment).

Abstract: Aspects relate to a soft physical cell identifier (PCI) change within a wireless network. A scheduling entity may communicate with a set of one or more scheduled entities within a first cell utilizing a first PCI. The scheduling entity may determine that a second PCI of a second cell co-located with the first cell has been assigned to the scheduling entity, for example, as a result of a PCI collision. The scheduling entity may implement a soft PCI change from the first PCI to the second PCI during a transition period within which the set of one or more scheduled entities may be transferred from the first cell to the second cell. The scheduling entity may then discontinue using the first PCI after completion of the transition period.
