    摘要: An accumulator charging valve has a housing with an inlet and two outlet orifices respectively connected to the pump outlet, to a fluid accumulator and to an open center hydraulic circuit. A main passage is provided between the inlet orifice and the second outlet orifice, with a movable valve member mounted in the main passage, and operated by a differential piston having a face of smaller diameter exposed to the pressure prevailing at the inlet orifice and a face of larger diameter projecting into a control chamber, forming a resilient variable volume enclosure. A leakage passage is provided between the inlet orifice and a low pressure reservoir and has a first portion with an orifice of restricted cross-section situated between the inlet orifice and control chamber, and a second portion also with an orifice of restricted cross-section situated between the control chamber and the reservoir. The first portion comprises pilot means for permitting or interrupting the flow through the leakage passage as a function of the pressure level prevailing in the chamber of the accumulator.

    摘要: A fluid pressure regulator valve assembly for the pressure accumulators used in the dual full pressure hydraulic brake system for vehicles is provided with two independent brake fluid conduits branching from a common supply passage and opened to both ends of a distributor cylinder. A pair of pressure chambers is provided in the distributor cylinder, mutually separated by a baffle wall, and communicate with a pair of accumulators. A piston rod slidably inserted through the baffle wall is kept at the neutral position by a balancing spring. A pair of one-way stop valves is provided at both open ends of passages of the pressure chambers, and each end of the piston rod is confronted with a valve element of each one-way stop valve. The piston rod is actuated against the repelling force of the balancing spring while the pressure of the braking fluid in any one of the accumulators is reduced to the desired level to a direction for moving the valve element at the reduced pressure side and clogging the open ends of the passages of the pressure chambers.

    摘要: A hydraulic brake booster is shown in a vehicle with the hydraulic pressure supply being the pump serving the power steering gear. The booster and the power steering gear are arranged in series and the booster is of the open center valve type. The control valve for the booster has one element formed on a reaction piston reciprocably mounted in the power piston and movable toward the valve closing direction by actuating pressure in the power chamber. The other valve element is mounted on an input member so that brake actuating movement of the input member causes a metering restriction of the hydraulic fluid flow between the valve elements with a consequent buildup of actuating pressure in the power chamber. The input member valve element is movable axially on the input member against a spring after the input member has been moved sufficiently far to close the control valve. The movement of the input member valve element operates an accumulator control valve which controls the admission of accumulator pressure to the power chamber for actuation after booster runout. The accumulator is maintained in a pressure charged state by action of the actuating pressure on the accumulator control valve, that pressure opening the valve to bring the accumulator charge pressure substantailly up to the level of the actuating pressure. The input member includes a balance piston having suitable areas operatively exposed to hydraulic fluid pressure and atmospheric pressure to prevent pressure buildup, due to actuation of the power steering gear, from affecting the brake booster operation, and to prevent an excessive reaction force on the input member.
