The display device includes at least one pneumatic intake connected to the service brake and/or to the parking brake via the network of pneumatic pipes, at least one electrical input, at least one electro-pneumatic triggering member connected to the pneumatic intake and to the electrical input, and at least one electronic display member connected to the electro-pneumatic triggering member and controlled to display the engaged state or the disengaged state of the service brake and/or of the parking brake.

Abstract: A combined dirt collector and cutout cock (CDC & COC) device for a rail car control to prevent unintentional re-pressurization of the control valve and rail car braking system. The device has an inlet configured for interconnection to an air supply, an outlet configured for interconnection to a control valve of a rail car, a valve moveable between a first position where an inlet is connected to an outlet and a second position where the inlet is isolated from the outlet, and a control valve vent positioned downstream of the valve and configured to open in response to the valve being moved into the second position. The valve may include a ball having a first passageway for selectively connecting and disconnecting the inlet from the outlet and a second passageway formed therethrough that is positioned to interconnect the outlet with the vent when the valve is in the second position.

Abstract: A brake distributor valve for a Russian railway vehicle includes a body defining a brake pipe passageway configured to be in fluid communication with a brake pipe, a reservoir passageway configured to be in fluid communication with a reservoir, and a reference pressure passageway configured to be in fluid communication with a reference pressure source. The brake distributor valve includes a service accelerated release valve having a valve member with a first position where the brake pipe passageway is isolated from the reservoir passageway and a second position where the brake pipe passageway is in fluid communication with the reservoir passageway. The valve member is configured to supply pressure from the reservoir passageway to the brake pipe passageway during a brake release event, where the valve member is actuated between the first and second positions based on a pressure within the reference pressure passageway.

Abstract: A swivel coupling assembly includes a first annular member having at least one annular barb, a shoulder and at least one annular groove containing a seal. There is a first bearing surface and a second bearing surface either side of the annular groove. There is a second annular member having an inner surface defining a bore configured to receive the first annular member. When joined, the shoulder of the first annular member frictionally engages the bore of the second annular, thereby allowing rotation. The seal engages with and seals the bore at a location between the ends of the second member. and spaced by a distance of at least the width of the first and second bearing surfaces from the shoulder and the second opening, respectively.
