摘要: A tire pressure controlling device for a tire of a vehicle wheel filled with compressed air, includes a control valve unit for filling the tire with compressed air and/or venting compressed air therefrom. The control valve unit is supplied from a compressor for generating the tire filling pressure. The compressor for compressing air drawn in from the atmosphere is driven by the mechanical rotary movement of the vehicle wheel, as a transmission disposed therebetween transmits the rotary driving movement of the vehicle wheel to the drive shaft of the compressor unit.

摘要: A trailer electronic braking system includes a braking device capable of generating a braking force on a wheel on the trailer, a brake force into the brake cylinders being controllable by a braking ECU The braking ECU is connected to a standards compliant communication bus on said trailer and is adapted to receive data inputs from sensors on the trailer. An access point adapted to receive inputs from further sensors on the trailer and/or to read the inputs from sensors received by the braking ECU such that data received from the sensors can be rendered in standards compliant manner and wirelessly transmitted to a further device such as a mobile telephone remote or distinct from the trailer. The further device is adapted to display information so received using a standards compliant client such as with a web browser.

摘要: A control system for a container chassis latching assembly of a trailer provides for initial pressurization of the latching assembly via the trailer supply line. Once a trailer reservoir is sufficiently charged, pressure is maintained for the latch assembly by the trailer reservoir. A preferred control valve interconnects the supply line with a supply port of the valve to provide the desired pressure at a delivery port. A control port of the valve is connected with the trailer reservoir and shuts off this flow once the trailer reservoir has reached a predetermined pressure. Thereafter, the latch assembly is maintained via air supplied from the trailer reservoir.

摘要: A brake control system for towed vehicles is disclosed which provides for controlled application of hydraulic brakes in a towed vehicle in response to the application of the brakes of the towing vehicle. The system is designed in two preferred embodiments. The first embodiment is a self-contained design adapted for use with rental trailers, for example, where a plurality of towed vehicles will be associated with a particular trailer. The second embodiment is intended for hard wiring in connection with the towed and towing vehicles. In each case, superior performance is obtained because the system operates the brake system of the towed vehicle in a unique manner.

An actuator is driven by this air pressure to depress the towed vehicle brake pedal in response to an elevated level of towing vehicle brake fluid pressure.
