Abstract: The disclosure provides satellite communication methods and related devices. One example method includes generating a random access preamble sequence which includes a cyclic prefix, a sequence part, and a guard interval. The sequence part includes a subsequence A and a subsequence B, or the sequence part includes a subsequence C, and the subsequence C is a time domain superimposed sequence of a subsequence A and a subsequence B. The subsequence A includes at least one preamble symbol, the subsequence B includes at least one preamble symbol, and the subsequence A and the subsequence B are respectively generated by using ZC sequences of different root indexes, a quantity of subsequences A is m, a quantity of subsequences B is m or m−1, and m is a positive integer. The method further includes outputting the random access preamble sequence.

Abstract: A communication method and a communication apparatus are provided. Abstract: This application provides a TA determining method and apparatus for a terminal device. After receiving a TA adjustment parameter sent by an access network device and determining that a TA of the terminal device needs to be adjusted, the terminal device determines a TA scaling factor, a subcarrier spacing parameter, and a first TA, to jointly adjust the first TA to obtain a second TA. ATA adjustment parameter k is added when the terminal device determines the second TA, so that an adjustable range of the TA is larger. Therefore, the TA may be applied to determining the TA of the terminal device when the terminal device communicates with a satellite base station. In this way, the terminal device can adjust the TA when movement of a device is caused by both the terminal device and the satellite base station.

Abstract: This application provides a method for processing a round trip delay, a related apparatus, and a readable storage medium, and pertains to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving a delay quantization parameter of a common round trip delay (RTD), where the delay quantization parameter includes a first quantization parameter, and the first quantization parameter is used to indicate a height-related delay; and obtaining the common RTD based on the delay quantization parameter. The height-related delay is indicated by using the first quantization parameter, so that the common RTD is obtained based on the first quantization parameter.
