Abstract: A regulator circuit is provided which suppresses a variation in output voltage upon occurrence of a variation in input voltage or output current without any increase in steady-state power consumption. The regulator circuit includes a detection circuit and an auxiliary circuit in addition to an error amplifier, an output transistor, a first resistor, a second resistor, and a reference voltage source. The error amplifier, the output transistor, the first resistor, and the second resistor form a typical linear regulator. The detection circuit includes a detecting capacitor, a first transistor, and a gain control resistor, which are serially connected between an input terminal and a ground terminal. A variation in input voltage leads to a change in potential at one end of the detecting capacitor with the input voltage. This causes a transient detecting current to flow, thereby allowing for detecting a voltage variation. The detecting current is amplified in the auxiliary circuit, allowing a feedback current to be fed back to the gate terminal of the output transistor.

Abstract: 4,4'-Diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl compounds which are obtained in a known manner and which are easy to agglomerate or aggregate owing mainly to their too fine particle size are conditioned by heating an aqueous suspension consisting essentially of the 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl compound and water in the presence or absence of a mineral acid or an alkali. The thus obtained 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl pigments are used in paints, printing inks, coloring of plastics and the like. The aqueous suspension is preferably prepared by desulfonating a 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl-3,3'-disulfonic acid compound in a mineral acid such as sulfuric acid and then mixing the desulfonation reaction mixture with water or by once isolating the resulting 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl compound and mixing the isolated compound with water.

Abstract: A semiconductor device with a novel structure in which stored data can be held even when power is not supplied and there is no limitation on the number of times of writing. In the semiconductor device, a plurality of memory cells each including a first transistor, a second transistor, and a capacitor is provided in matrix and a wiring (also called a bit line) for connecting one memory cell to another memory cell and a source or drain electrode of the first transistor are electrically connected to each other through a source or drain electrode of the second transistor. Accordingly, the number of wirings can be smaller than that in the case where the source or drain electrode of the first transistor and the source or drain electrode of the second transistor are connected to different wirings. Thus, the degree of integration of the semiconductor device can be increased.
