Abstract: The present invention relates to a non-aqueous cathode material for lithium secondary batteries using a spherical transition metal complex carbonate, and a method for preparing same. According to the present invention, since the surface of a spherical transition metal complex carbonate, which is prepared by using a cobalt material, nickel material, manganese material, carboxyl group material, and ammonia material, is coated with titanium dioxide. In addition, by mixing the prepared, surface-coated transition metal complex carbonate with a lithium material and heat-treating the resultant material, it is possible to prepare a spherical Li-rich cathode material having a primary particle size of 200 nm or more, and a 0.1 C capacity of 250 mAh/g or more, and capable of implementing 96% or more of the initial capacity in a full cell after charging and discharging 60 times.

Abstract: A method and a system for automatic image caption generation are provided. The automatic image caption generation method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: extracting a distinctive attribute from example captions of a learning image; training a first neural network for predicting a distinctive attribute from an image, by using a pair of the extracted distinctive attribute and the learning image; inferring a distinctive attribute by inputting the learning image to the trained first neural network; and training a second neural network for generating a caption of an image by using a pair of the inferred distinctive attribute and the learning image. Accordingly, a caption well indicating a feature of a given image is automatically generated, such that an image can be more exactly explained and a difference from other images can be clearly distinguished.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system for providing an image-segmentation based streaming service. The system includes a communication circuit configured to establish a communication channel with a streaming server, a storage configured to store data provided by the streaming server, a display configured to output an image, a processor functionally connected to the communication circuit, the storage, and the display. The processor can detect a region-of-interest (ROI) of an output image associated with a media presentation description (MPD) provided by the streaming server and transmit the ROI information to the streaming server. The processor can also receive image segments of a first resolution corresponding to the ROI information and a full image of a second resolution from the streaming server. The processor can also synthesize the image segments of the first resolution and the full image of the second resolution to output a synthesized reconstruction image through the display.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for controlling a message over a heterogeneous network. The method includes receiving a first message from a first network, generating a plurality of second messages (a “plurality of fragmented messages”) each header including an arbitration field by performing fragmentation on the first message, and increasing priority of at least one remaining fragmented message by controlling the arbitration field of the at least one remaining fragmented message if the transmission of a first fragmented message over a second network is successful. An apparatus for performing the method includes a reception message processing unit, a transmission message processing unit, a transmission network sensing unit, and a message transmission continuity management unit. Accordingly, a method and apparatus for controlling a message over a heterogeneous network can be simplified, message transmission latency can be prevented, and a message transmission sequence can be maintained.
