    Abstract: Disclosed is a tower lifting device for a rotary blasthole drill, comprising a hydraulic cylinder (5), an extending oil path (7), a retracting oil path (6), a speed control oil path (14) and a proximity switch (3), wherein the extending oil path (7) is connected to a non-rod-end chamber of the hydraulic cylinder (5), and an extension control unit is provided on the extending oil path (7); the retracting oil path (6) is connected to a rod-end chamber of the hydraulic cylinder (5), and a retraction control unit is provided on the retracting oil path (6); the speed control oil path (14) is connected to the retracting oil path (6), the speed control oil path (14) is connected to a speed control valve block (15) in series and the tail end thereof is connected to an oil tank (16); the proximity switch (3) is arranged on a tower supporting frame (2) for controlling the switching on and off of the speed control valve block (15), and when the tower (4) is approximately in a horizontal state, the speed control valve block (15) is on. By using such a tower lifting device in the present invention, the speed at which the tower is laid down to a horizontal state can be conveniently controlled.

    Abstract: An industrial truck comprises a lift frame having a load part for carrying a load and a hydraulic system including at least one hydraulic cylinder having a piston rod disposed within a cylindrical housing, and a hydraulic power unit. At least one sensor is configured to determine at least one of: (i) an actual speed of the piston rod of the at least one hydraulic cylinder, and (ii) an actual acceleration of the piston rod of the at least one hydraulic cylinder. Furthermore, a control unit is configured to: (i) receive at least one of a target speed of the piston rod and a target acceleration of the piston rod, (ii) determine at least one of a speed control deviation value from the target speed, and an acceleration control deviation value from the target acceleration, and, (iii) regulate at least one of the actual speed of the piston rod based on the actual speed control deviation value and the actual acceleration of the piston rod based on the actual acceleration control deviation value.

    Abstract: The electro-hydrostatic actuator system for raising and lowering aircraft landing gear (1) is provided with at least one hydraulic actuator (21, 22) that is constituted so as to perform retraction and deployment of landing gear (11), a hydraulic circuit (33), a hydraulic pump (32), an electric motor (31), a controller (4) constituted so as to control the operation of the electric motor upon receiving an instruction relating to retraction of the landing gear or an instruction relating to deployment of the landing gear, and a sensor (34) that detects the discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump. The controller feeds back the discharge pressure that the sensor has detected, and controls the operation of the electric motor so that the discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump becomes a target discharge pressure.

    Abstract: An assembly for hoisting and lowering a drill string of a drilling rig includes a multiple displacement hydraulic cylinder having a blind end, a rod end, and a single piston rod configured for slidable extension and retraction movement within the interior space of the cylinder. The interior space is defined by three chambers, each chamber having a port allowing switchable flow of hydraulic fluid into and out from the cylinder. The assembly also includes a pumping and switching system with hydraulic fluid connections to each port of the cylinder. The pumping and switching system is configured to switch the direction of hydraulic fluid flow through each of the ports of the three chambers, thereby providing the assembly with a plurality of hydraulic fluid flow path combinations. Each flow path combination provides a different speed-to-force ratio for extending or retracting the piston rod, thereby hoisting or lowering the drill string.
