Abstract: Disclosed is a tower lifting device for a rotary blasthole drill, comprising a hydraulic cylinder (5), an extending oil path (7), a retracting oil path (6), a speed control oil path (14) and a proximity switch (3), wherein the extending oil path (7) is connected to a non-rod-end chamber of the hydraulic cylinder (5), and an extension control unit is provided on the extending oil path (7); the retracting oil path (6) is connected to a rod-end chamber of the hydraulic cylinder (5), and a retraction control unit is provided on the retracting oil path (6); the speed control oil path (14) is connected to the retracting oil path (6), the speed control oil path (14) is connected to a speed control valve block (15) in series and the tail end thereof is connected to an oil tank (16); the proximity switch (3) is arranged on a tower supporting frame (2) for controlling the switching on and off of the speed control valve block (15), and when the tower (4) is approximately in a horizontal state, the speed control valve block (15) is on. By using such a tower lifting device in the present invention, the speed at which the tower is laid down to a horizontal state can be conveniently controlled.

Abstract: A control system includes: an engine; a first hydraulic pump and a second hydraulic pump driven by the engine; a switching device provided in a flow path that connects the first hydraulic pump to the second hydraulic pump, and configured to perform switching between a merged state in which the flow path is opened and a separated state in which the flow path is closed; a first hydraulic actuator to which hydraulic fluid discharged from the first hydraulic pump is supplied in the separated state; a second hydraulic actuator to which hydraulic fluid discharged from the second hydraulic pump is supplied in the separated state; a determining unit configured to determine whether output of the engine is limited; and a merging-separating control unit configured to control the switching device so as to perform switching to the merged state when the determining unit determines that output of the engine is limited.

Abstract: A cylinder acceleration mechanism includes a buffer tank that supplies and discharges oil to and from a bottom-side line that is connected to a bottom-side chamber of an actuating cylinder, and an inversion lever having an intermediate fulcrum as a rotation axis. The buffer tank includes a buffer chamber with a variable capacity achieved by a seal lid moving back and forth inside of a case, and extends and reduces a length of a coupling rod provided to the seal lid and projects from the case. A bottom-side branching line branched from the bottom-side line is connected to the buffer chamber. The actuating rod of the actuating cylinder and the coupling rod of the buffer tank are coupled to respective ends of the inversion lever. The actuating rod and the coupling rod extend and retract alternately with respect to each other as the inversion lever turns.

Abstract: An industrial truck comprises a lift frame having a load part for carrying a load and a hydraulic system including at least one hydraulic cylinder having a piston rod disposed within a cylindrical housing, and a hydraulic power unit. At least one sensor is configured to determine at least one of: (i) an actual speed of the piston rod of the at least one hydraulic cylinder, and (ii) an actual acceleration of the piston rod of the at least one hydraulic cylinder. Furthermore, a control unit is configured to: (i) receive at least one of a target speed of the piston rod and a target acceleration of the piston rod, (ii) determine at least one of a speed control deviation value from the target speed, and an acceleration control deviation value from the target acceleration, and, (iii) regulate at least one of the actual speed of the piston rod based on the actual speed control deviation value and the actual acceleration of the piston rod based on the actual acceleration control deviation value.

Abstract: An electromagnetic switching valve, for which the maximum opening is set to be small, is disposed on piping between a lift cylinder and a hydraulic pump motor. A pilot check valve, for which the maximum opening is set to be larger than the electromagnetic switching valve, is disposed on piping, different from the piping, between the lift cylinder and the hydraulic pump motor. In addition, during lowering operations, first, the electromagnetic switching valve is opened, and then after the same is opened, the pilot check valve is opened after a prescribed time has passed. Thus, the shock generated when lowering an object to be raised/lowered is reduced and a fork is operated quickly.

The controller feeds back the discharge pressure that the sensor has detected, and controls the operation of the electric motor so that the discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump becomes a target discharge pressure.

Abstract: In a hydraulic system which is biased to a minimum system pressure using a bias valve or other flow obstruction disposed in a tank line, there is provided in a bypass line to the bias valve an evacuating and filling valve through which the hydraulic system is first evacuatable and subsequently fillable with a hydraulic fluid. The valve closes the bypass when a differential pressure overcomes a preadjusted force of a spring element. For this purpose, the valve possesses a displaceably mounted valve body with an integrated throttle and a seal face which closes a through opening when the valve body is shifted against the bias force of the spring element due to the pressure difference.

Abstract: The method for controlling the hydraulic system of construction machinery according to the present disclosure includes an engine speed prediction step, in which a variable rated engine speed, which varies within a range larger than a fixed rated engine speed and smaller than a high idle engine speed for the fixed rated engine speed and a virtual engine speed, which is to be input later, are predicted to output a virtual engine speed value predicted before an actual engine speed is input. Accordingly, when an operation load is applied, pump torque may initially have a margin, and even though an engine speed is decreased due to the operation load, it is possible to prevent an engine speed decrease phenomenon in which the engine speed becomes remarkably smaller than the rated engine speed.

Abstract: An assembly for hoisting and lowering a drill string of a drilling rig includes a multiple displacement hydraulic cylinder having a blind end, a rod end, and a single piston rod configured for slidable extension and retraction movement within the interior space of the cylinder. The interior space is defined by three chambers, each chamber having a port allowing switchable flow of hydraulic fluid into and out from the cylinder. The assembly also includes a pumping and switching system with hydraulic fluid connections to each port of the cylinder. The pumping and switching system is configured to switch the direction of hydraulic fluid flow through each of the ports of the three chambers, thereby providing the assembly with a plurality of hydraulic fluid flow path combinations. Each flow path combination provides a different speed-to-force ratio for extending or retracting the piston rod, thereby hoisting or lowering the drill string.
