    摘要: Technologies for controlling a lubrication subsystem of a gas turbine propulsion system are disclosed herein. The propulsion system includes several distributed lubricant pumps. Each lubricant pump is coupled to a lubricant circuit that includes a corresponding lubricated component of the propulsion system. The lubricated components may include engine bearing sumps or heat exchangers. The propulsion system includes a propulsion system controller coupled to the lubricant pumps. The propulsion system controller receives input data indicative of a current operating condition of the propulsion system, determines pump control settings based on the current operating condition, and controls each of the lubricant pumps according to a corresponding pump control setting. The propulsion system controller may detect that a lubricant pump has failed and redirect a lubricant circuit corresponding to the failed lubricant pump. The input data may be indicative of lubricant flow rate, pressure, temperature, engine load, or electrical power generation load.

    摘要: A fluid delivery assembly for delivering fluid to a component in a gas turbine engine includes a rotating shaft having a central bore and at least one fluid exhaust in communication with the central bore for centrifugally expelling fluid, and a delivery scoop disposed around the rotating shaft and spaced apart from the rotating shaft by an annular gap. The delivery scoop includes an annular body having at least one impingement surface facing the at least one fluid exhaust and configured to scoop the fluid expelled by the at least one fluid exhaust. The impingement surface has at least one outlet for delivering the scooped fluid to the component. A method of delivering pressurised fluid in a fluid system is also presented.

The system includes an oil circuit and a propeller main pump for supplying the propeller gearbox and a propeller high-pressure pump supplying the propeller adjusting device with oil. The system includes an oil accumulator for providing, in the event of an undersupply of oil by the propeller main pump, oil contained in the oil accumulator to the inlet of the propeller high-pressure pump such that the pump inlet pressure at the inlet of the propeller high-pressure pump does not fall short of a certain minimum value. The oil accumulator is incorporated into the inflow to the propeller high-pressure pump to be continuously supplied and charged with oil of the propeller main pump.

    摘要: A fill tube for an oil tank may have at least one baffle coupled to an inner wall of the fill tube. A first baffle may have an aperture. A release tube may be coupled to the baffle at the aperture. An object may be inserted through the aperture. The object may force open a flapper valve coupled to the fill tube. Pressure in the oil tank may be released through the flapper valve. The baffles may prevent hot oil from spraying out of the fill tube. After the pressure has been equalized, oil may be poured into the fill tube to fill the oil tank.
