摘要: Embodiments are directed to wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) systems that include patient parameter electrodes, such as ECG electrodes, that are at least substantially electrically isolated from other circuits of the WCD system. In embodiments, the WCD system includes a power source, an energy storage module, and a processor each connected to a first circuit ground. A patient parameter sense port, such as an ECG port, is coupled to the patient. A measurement circuit may render a physiological input from the sensed patient parameter received at the patient parameter sense port, and the measurement circuit includes an isolating circuit that electrically isolates the patient parameter sense port from the first circuit ground. The sensing of physiological inputs of the patient can be improved, resulting in fewer erroneous readings and false alarms.

摘要: Monitoring physiological parameter using an implantable physiological monitor in order to detect a condition predictive of a possible future pathological episode and collecting additional physiological data associated with the condition predictive of a possible future pathological episode. Monitoring another physiological parameter in order to detect a condition indicative of the beginning of a present pathological episode and collecting additional pathological data in response to the condition. Determining that the condition predictive of a future episode and the condition indicative of a present episode are associated and, in response thereto, storing all the collected physiological data.

摘要: A wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) system includes a support structure that the patient may wear, and one or more sensors that may acquire patient physiological signals, such as ECG and others. A processor of the WCD system may determine diagnostics from the patient physiological signals. These diagnostics include a six-second ECG portion, heart rates as histograms, heart rates against QRS width, heart rate trends, clinical event counters, diagnostics relating to heart rate variability and about the atrial arrhythmia burden of the patient. In some embodiments, the WCD system includes a user interface with a screen that displays these diagnostics. In some embodiments, the WCD system exports these diagnostics for viewing by a different screen. When viewed, these diagnostics permit more detailed analysis of the state of the patient.

摘要: The present invention is directed toward a detection architecture for use in implantable cardiac rhythm devices. The detection architecture of the present invention provides methods and devices for discriminating between arrhythmias. Moreover, by exploiting the enhanced specificity in the origin of the identified arrhythmia, the detection architecture can better discriminate between rhythms appropriate for device therapy and those that are not.

摘要: Methods and devices for adjusting therapy delivery decisions in an implantable cardiac stimulus device. Some example methods and devices use a first counter to track benign cardiac activity during therapy preparations and a second counter to track shockable cardiac activity once therapy is ready. Therapy can then be delivered if or when the second counter exceeds the first counter.

摘要: Methods and devices for combining multiple signals from multiple sensing vectors for use in wearable or implantable cardiac devices. Signals from multiple vectors may be combined using weighting factors and/or by conversion to different coordinate systems than the original inputs, which may or may not be normalized to patient anatomy. Signals from multiple sensing vectors may be combined prior to or after several analytical steps or processes including before or after filtering, and before or after cardiac cycle detection. Cardiac cycle detection information may be combined across multiple sensing vectors before or after analysis of individual vectors for noise or overdetection. Cardiac cycle detection information may also be combined across multiple sensing vectors to identify noise and/or overdetection.
