    摘要: An electrostatic discharge protection structure contains a short ring surrounding a display region comprising pixel electrodes and thin film transistors, a plurality of switching elements disposed between the display region and the short ring corresponding to the scan lines and data lines, at least one of which is turned on to electrically connect the short ring and the scan lines and the data lines for introducing electrostatic charges to the short ring when a specific amount of electrostatic charges accumulate on the scan lines and the data lines, a conducting wire electrically connecting a storage capacitor line and the short ring, and a floating conductive pattern crossing over and not contacting the conducting wire, thereby assisting the electrostatic charges in distributing in the floating conductive pattern. Thus, an electrostatic discharge protection can be performed efficiently without increasing the substrate size.

A user may select dimension members of a data source, such as an online analytical processing (OLAP) data cube. The user may position the dimension members as headers on the data array where multiple dimensions may be represented in one or both axes. Member formulas are generated that are representative of the headers and include identifiers that point to the dimension member location of the data source. Value formulas are generated within the report grid defined by the location of the headers where the value formulas are representative of the actual data values of the report and include identifiers that point to the data value locations of the dimension member locations within the data source.

    摘要: A method and system for power management including device controller-based device use evaluation and power-state control provides improved performance in a power-managed processing system. Per-device usage information is measured and evaluated during process execution and is retrieved from the device controller upon a context switch, so that upon reactivation of the process, the previous usage evaluation state can be restored. The device controller can then provide for per-process control of attached device power management states without intervention by the processor and without losing the historical evaluation state when a process is switched out. The device controller can control power-saving states of connected devices in conformity with the usage evaluation without processor intervention and across multiple process execution slices. The device controller may be a memory controller and the controlled devices memory modules or banks within modules if individual banks can be power-managed. Local thresholds provide the decision-making mechanism for each controlled device. The thresholds may be history-based, fixed or adaptive and are generally set initially by the operating system and may be updated by the memory controller adaptively or using historical collected usage evaluation counts or alternatively by the operating system via a system processor.

    摘要: The invention is based on speed changes of sound/ultrasound pulses and a fixed detecting depth between a transducer and sampling points to collect information of the detecting depth and/or a velocity of motionless and/or moving objects from the sampling points to construct two-dimension or three-dimension images of the sampling points. By taking advantages of a pulse ultrasound and a continuous ultrasound, a method of coded sound pulses can simultaneously collect the information of the detecting depth and the velocity from the sampling points, which improves imaging quality. Calculating a speed of the moving objects by simultaneously detecting time-of-flight (TOF) and TOF shift at same site from two separated piezoelectric (PZT) elements improves testing results with accuracy, simplification and reproducibility. An aliasing can be rectified based on the TOF and the TOF shift.

    摘要: An adjustable airless tire system includes spring-loaded shock absorbers to provide suspension to absorb impact energy and damp spring oscillations; and a metallic hawser loop to transfer the impact energy from the spring-loaded shock absorbers of the ground contact surface of the tire to whole spring-loaded shock absorbers within the tire to maximize their suspension potential. A control component adjusts a tension and a size of the ground contact surface of the tire according to the road conditions, which improve its oil efficiency, comfortability, controllability and safety. An enhanced rim of a wheel keeps an appropriate distance from the tire to protect the spring-loaded shock absorbers and provide limited moving ability for the vehicle if the airless system loses their functions. A curved tire forms a closed space between the tire and the rim to prevent foreign objects from sticking between them.

A rim of a wheel keeps an appropriate distance from the tire to limit the maximal level of downward movement of the supporting rods, and support the load of the vehicle if the tire is overload or the piston system lose their function. A transversely curved tire forms closed space between the tire and the rim of the wheel to prevent sticking of foreign objects between them.

    摘要: During transmission the speed of ultrasound pulses gradually reduces due to their energy loss. So, calculating the detecting depth with fixed transmitting speed may distort two dimensional images due to the reduction of pulse speed. Correcting TOF error will rectify the depth registration and improve the quality of images.The thickness of activated piezoelectric materials decides the size and quantity of ultrasound pulses, which is related to its penetrating ability. So, increasing thickness of activated piezoelectric materials will increase the quantity of ultrasound pulses, which increase their penetrating depth.Moving objects change the speed of reflected ultrasound pulses. The forward moving objects increase reflected speed and reversely moving objects decrease reflected speed, which change their TOF. Therefore TOF shift can be used to calculate the velocity of moving objects in the continuous and pulse wave and color ultrasound, and correct aliasing of pulse and color ultrasound.
