    Abstract: An operation method of a relay in a mobile communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving information relating to a backhaul reception beam and/or a backhaul transmission beam from a base station; receiving information relating to an access link transmission beam and/or an access link reception beam from the base station or obtaining information relating to an access link transmission beam and/or an access link reception beam from the information relating to the backhaul reception beam and/or backhaul transmission beam; communicating with the base station by using the backhaul reception beam and/or the backhaul transmission beam formed using the information relating to the backhaul reception beam and/or backhaul transmission beam; and communicating with a terminal by using the access link transmission beam and/or the access link reception beam formed using the information relating to the access link transmission beam and/or access link reception beam.

    Abstract: Provided is a Marchand balun and a frequency multiplier including the same. The Marchand balun may include transmission lines and slot lines extending to be proximate to the transmission lines. The transmission lines may include feeding transmission lines and coupled transmission lines connected to the feeding transmission lines. The slot lines may include near-distance slot lines provided to be adjacent to the feeding transmission lines, and far-distance slot lines extending in a direction away from the near-distance slot lines. The feeding transmission lines may be provided to be adjacent to the near-distance slot lines.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a spiking neural network circuit, which includes an axon circuit that generates first and second input spike signals, a synapse circuit that generates a first current based on the first input spike signal and a weight and generates a second current based on the second input spike signal and the weight, a capacitor that forms a first membrane voltage based on the first current, and a neuron circuit including a comparator and that resets the first membrane voltage, and after the capacitor further forms a second membrane voltage based on the second current, and the comparator includes a first input terminal and a second input terminal, receives the first membrane voltage through the first input terminal and a reference voltage through the second input terminal, generates a first spike signal based on a first comparison operation of the first membrane voltage and the reference voltage.

    Abstract: A method of equalization for high-speed processing and an equalizer thereof are proposed. The method of equalization includes determining a filter coefficient applied to a transmitter equalizer provided with a 2-tap precoder according to an approximate channel response characteristic, generating a pre-equalization signal by removing precursor ISI of a transmission feedback signal by the precoder to which the filter coefficient is applied, so as to output the pre-equalization signal as a transmitting signal, and receiving a transmission signal and generating an equalization signal by removing postcursor ISI of the received transmission signal by a receiver equalizer provided with a feedback filter having auxiliary coefficients for compensating for a difference between an overall channel response of the transmission signal and a channel response based on the precoder.

    Abstract: A test device and method for testing a distributed feedback laser diode (DFB-LD) device for an optical transceiver of a radio over fiber (RoF) system examines the DFB-LD device based on an absolute limiting rating, an operating case environment, and a functional specification, in which the absolute limiting rating is a rating at which there is no fatal damage to the DFB-LD device during a short period of time when each limiting parameter is isolated and all other parameters are in a normal performance parameter, the operating case environment includes an operating temperature, and the functional specification includes parameters to be tested according to an operating condition for the functional specification.
