摘要: An uncertainty-aware framework is presented for high-variance planning problems with multiple dynamic agents. Planning when surrounded by multiple uncertain dynamic agents is hard because one cannot be certain of either the initial states or the future actions of those agents, leading to an exponential explosion in possible futures. Many important real-world problems, such as autonomous driving, fit this model. To address these difficulties, Multi-policy Decision Making (MPDM) and Monte Carlo tree search (MCTS) are combined and a policy tree search performed with marginal action cost estimation and repeated belief particles.

摘要: An organic photovoltaic device comprises a first electrode, at least one organic heterojunction layer positioned over the first electrode, a second electrode positioned over the organic heterojunction layer, and a thin film stack positioned over the second electrode, comprising a plurality of sublayers of a first dielectric material alternating with a plurality of sublayers of a second dielectric material, wherein at least one of the plurality of sublayers of the first dielectric material has a thickness that is different from another of the plurality of sublayers of the first dielectric material, wherein the organic photovoltaic device has a mean transmittance of between 10% and 100% for light between 420 nm and 670 nm, with a variance of ±10%, and wherein an index contrast between the sublayers in the thin film stack is at least 0.1. A method of fabricating an organic photovoltaic device is also disclosed.

摘要: A method is disclosed for suppressing propagation of a metal in a solid state electrolyte during cycling of an electrochemical device including the solid state electrolyte and an electrode comprising the metal. One method comprises forming the solid state electrolyte such that the solid state electrolyte has a structure comprising a plurality of grains of a metal-ion conductive material and a grain boundary phase located at some or all of grain boundaries between the grains, wherein the grain boundary phase suppresses propagation of the metal in the solid state electrolyte during cycling. Another method comprises forming the solid state electrolyte such that the solid state electrolyte is a single crystal.

摘要: A dependent closed pressure vessel is fluidly coupled to an independent closed pressure vessel. A pressure sensor monitors pressure in the vessels to generate raw pressure measurement data. A flow meter monitors multidirectional rate of flow of fluid between the vessels and the volume of fluid flowing from the independent closed pressure vessel to generate raw rate of flow and raw volume measurement data. A pressure/flow regulator valve adjusts pressure in the dependent closed pressure vessel in response to a pressure set point signal generated in response to the raw pressure data, adjusts the rate of flow of fluid between the vessels in response to a rate of flow set point signal generated in response to the raw rate of flow data, and adjusts the rate of flow of fluid between the vessels in response to a volume set point signal generated in response to the raw volume data.

摘要: A method includes inputting a source into a weighted and undirected graph having a plurality of nodes and edges, inputting a target, inputting a plurality of objectives, searching the graph using a rapidly exploring random tree algorithm to determine a solution path that meets an existence constraint and an order constraint, determining a plurality of paths between the source and the target that intersects with each one of the plurality of objectives at least once that conforms with the existence constraint, assigning a travel cost for each of the determined plurality of paths, determining a visiting order of the plurality of objectives that reduces the assigned travel cost by the RRT* algorithm asymptotically decreasing with an allocated computation time by rewiring each one of the plurality of objectives and outputting the solution path to form a connected graph having the plurality of nodes.
