    Abstract: In some embodiments, a system for resource transportation comprises a routing command subsystem. In some embodiments, the routing command subsystem is configured to be communicably coupled to a first input device at a first location, the first input device configured to determine a first resource factor of a resource at the first location and a location input device associated with a transporter, the transporter configured to transport the resource, the location input device configured to determine a transporter location. In some embodiments, the routing command subsystem is further configured to change a first endpoint of a transporter route to a first alternate location based at least in part on the first resource factor and the transporter location.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine a first utility metric associated with a region and first autonomous vehicle eligibility criteria, wherein the first utility metric is determined based on a first plurality of rides and a subset of the first plurality of rides that can be successfully executed within the region based on the first autonomous vehicle eligibility criteria. A second utility metric associated with the region and second autonomous vehicle eligibility criteria can be determined, wherein the second utility metric is determined based on a second plurality of rides and a subset of the second plurality of rides that can be successfully executed within the region based on the second autonomous vehicle eligibility criteria. An autonomous vehicle associated with the first autonomous vehicle eligibility criteria can be selected to drive in the region based on a comparison of the first utility metric and the second utility metric.

    Abstract: A motor vehicle for operation by a driver has a frame with wheels and a motor connected to the frame. A steering control is connected to the wheels to establish a steering angle. A controller is operably connected to the steering control, to the motor, and to the wheels, and is operable to selectably drive the wheels in a forward direction in a drive mode and in a rearward direction in a reverse mode. The controller is operable to select a direction for driving the wheels in response to a pattern of steering angle movements, without operator indication of a direction.

    Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle platoon, performed by a computer device, includes: establishing a communication connection with a first vehicle, wherein the first vehicle is a free vehicle; obtaining vehicle status information of the first vehicle; obtaining at least one platoon status information of at least one vehicle platoon; matching a first target vehicle platoon of the at least one vehicle platoon with the first vehicle based on the vehicle status information and the at least one platoon status information; generating a first platoon control instruction based on: a first distance between the first vehicle and the first target vehicle platoon, the vehicle status information, and platoon status information of the first target vehicle platoon; and instructing the first vehicle to join the first target vehicle platoon based on transmitting the first platoon control instruction to at least one of the first target vehicle platoon or the first vehicle.

    Abstract: Provided is a vehicle operation system including a first operation management server and a second operation management server. The first operation management server calculates a running route to the destination, a border point, and a scheduled arrival time at which the first vehicle is to arrive at the border point, and informs the second operation management server of these. Further, the first operation management server sends an operation instruction to the first vehicle to instruct it to run from the current position to the border point. The second operation management server sends an operation signal to a second vehicle to instruct it to arrive at the border point by the informed scheduled arrival time, and then to run from the border point to the destination after the user transfers from the first vehicle to the second vehicle at the border point.

    Abstract: This application provides a method for controlling vehicles driving as a platoon performed by an electronic device. The method includes: transmitting a first vehicle clearing message to a target in-platoon vehicle, and a second vehicle clearing message to following vehicles behind the target in-platoon vehicle, the first vehicle clearing message used for instructing the target in-platoon vehicle to leave the platoon, the second vehicle clearing message used for instructing temporary clearing of the following vehicles behind the target in-platoon vehicle; receiving a platoon joining message returned from the following vehicles behind the target in-platoon vehicle; and reorganizing the following vehicles behind the target in-platoon vehicle according to the platoon joining message to form a new vehicle platoon, the new vehicle platoon not including the target in-platoon vehicle and following vehicles having not transmitted the platoon joining message to the leading vehicle.
