Abstract: Disclosed is a model and simulation (M&S) tool that allows users to manipulate the metadata of terrain and imagery files (geoTIFF files) to represent changes in the terrain or even add assets to them, such as buildings, geographic features (e.g., changed geography), or trees The disclosed M&S tool is able to add and/or remove features from the geoTIFF file by either directly manipulating the metadata of the file or by creating what is termed herein as a “shapefile” to overlay the changes on top of the file metadata. This manipulation enhances the fidelity of older geoTIFF datasets by selectively updating and/or adding content to the data and allows users to rapidly generate usable datasets within a physics based digital environment.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing compromised sensors in multi-tiered virtualized environments. In some embodiments, a system can receive, from a first capturing agent deployed in a virtualization layer of a first device, data reports generated based on traffic captured by the first capturing agent. The system can also receive, from a second capturing agent deployed in a hardware layer of a second device, data reports generated based on traffic captured by the second capturing agent. Based on the data reports, the system can determine characteristics of the traffic captured by the first capturing agent and the second capturing agent. The system can then compare the characteristics to determine a multi-layer difference in traffic characteristics. Based on the multi-layer difference in traffic characteristics, the system can determine that the first capturing agent or the second capturing agent is in a faulty state.

Abstract: An automated cruise control system is disclosed. Sensors detect driving parameters associated with the ground vehicle as the ground vehicle maneuvers along a segment of the roadway. A ground vehicle control detector detects ground vehicle control inputs associated with an operation of the ground vehicle. The ground vehicle control inputs are generated from a longitudinal operation of the ground vehicle. A energy consumption cruise controller automatically adjusts the operation of the ground vehicle as the ground vehicle maneuvers along the segment of the roadway to maintain the operation of the ground vehicle within an operation threshold based on the detected driving parameters and ground vehicle control inputs. The operation threshold is the operation of the ground vehicle that decreases an amount of overall energy consumed by the ground vehicle and maintains a longitudinal speed of the ground vehicle within a longitudinal speed threshold.

Abstract: Example techniques disclosed herein relate to location-based playlists. In an example implementation, a system receives, from a mobile device, first GPS data indicating that the mobile device is located at a first physical location, wherein an application on the mobile device is registered with a particular user account of the cloud service. The system determines that the first physical location represented in the first GPS data corresponds to a location of a first business associated with one or more first playback devices within the cloud service. The one or more first playback devices are playing back first audio tracks. As each first audio track is at least partially played back, the system adds the respective first audio track to a location-based playlist associated with the particular user account of the cloud service. The computing system causes the mobile device to display an indication of the location-based playlist.
