摘要: A method comprises detecting at a plurality of light-receiver units, an impingement position of the light plane on a photo sensor that has a known relative position in relation to the surface, determining, for each light-receiver unit and based on the impingement position and the known relative position, a crossing position value of the light plane with respect to the surface, performing a combined analysis of the crossing position values from the plurality of light-receiver units to derive alignment information comprising the deviation of the alignment of the surface of the structure relative to the light plane, and displaying the alignment information to a user. The invention also relates to computer programme product, a light-receiver unit and a system comprising a plurality of light-receiver units for performing the method.

摘要: The present disclosure includes systems and methods for determining dimensions, shapes, and locations of rooms of a building using a mobile device for controlling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) provided to the rooms and building. A measuring device receives a shape of a room in the building and determines a dimension set of the room based on the shape of the room. The measuring device transmits the shape of the room and the dimension set to a mobile device that determines a layout of the building based on the shapes and the dimension sets corresponding to the rooms of the building. In this manner, the systems and methods provide the layout of the building more efficiently, resulting in an improved HVAC system installation and operation process.

The field monitor for use with a mobile platform having: a housing; a camera; a LiDAR sensor; a processing structure capturing point data and image data; generating above-ground field data; and determining crop data. The field data collection system having a stationary field monitor and one or more mobile field monitors capturing above-ground data. The stationary field monitor and the mobile field monitors having an associated GPS. The multi-depth sensors capture below-ground data and communicating the below-ground data to the stationary field monitor. A GPU processes the above-ground data and the GPS data to generate a point cloud data set.

摘要: A system, apparatus, computer program product, and method use a convolutional neural network to auto-determine a first floor height (FFH) and a FFH elevation (FFE) of a building. The FFH, and FFE of the building are determined with respect to the terrain or surface of the parcel of land on which the building is located. In turn, by knowing the FFH and/or FFE of the building on the parcel, it is possible to use that information while performing a flood risk assessment to a property without requiring a personal inspection of the parcel by a human.

摘要: A coordinate measuring device is provided having a light source that emits a beam of light. A distance meter measures a distance to a target. A first locator camera assembly includes a first camera and first lights. A second locator camera assembly includes a second camera and second lights. The processor matches retroreflectors in a first image of the first camera and a second image of the second camera based on a shape-and-context matching of retroreflector spots in the first and second image and on an area-context-matching of background objects in the first and second image. The retroreflector spots in the first image produced by illumination of the retroreflectors by the first lights, the retroreflector spots in the second image produced by illumination of the retroreflectors by the second lights. The processor provides a third image that includes both the background objects and markers indicating the matched retroreflectors.

摘要: A locating and marking device. The device has one or more antennas capable of detecting a signal emanating from an underground line. A marking device, such as a paint canister, is located on the frame of the device. This marking device leaves a physical or virtual mark at an above-ground path overlying the underground line. A processor receives signals from the antennas and directs the device to place the marking device above the above-ground path. The marking device may move back and forth on a frame of the device, or the device may steer to maintain the marking device in the proper position.

The system has a frame; a battery mounted to the frame and providing electrical power; a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) sensor mounted to the frame; a camera mounted to the frame; an enclosure mounted to the frame, the enclosure housing a processing structure. The processing structure executes instructions such as capturing point data from the LiDAR sensor; capturing image data from the camera; generating a 3D color-assigned cloud point data set from the image data and the point data; and determining crop characteristic data. The method involves similar steps as executed by the processing structure.
