摘要: A humidifier may include a tank that stores water; a first humidifying water tank that is disposed at a lower side of the water tank and heats water supplied from the water tank using a heater; a second humidifying water tank that is disposed at the lower side of the water tank and generates humidified air using water supplied from the first humidifying water tank via a vibrator; a first connection pipe that connects the first humidifying water tank and the second humidifying water tank; a first valve that opens and closes a flow path connecting the water tank and the first humidifying water tank; a second valve that opens and closes the first connection pipe; and a first temperature sensor that detects a temperature of water inside of the first humidifying water tank. The second valve may open the first connection pipe, when the temperature of water detected by the first temperature sensor is equal to or higher than a first predetermined temperature.

摘要: The present invention relates to a biogas production system using organic waste, including: a pretreatment facility having a mixed equalization tank adapted to equally mix food waste and livestock manure and treat and produce the mixed food waste and livestock manure as the organic waste; an anaerobic digestion facility having anaerobic digesters adapted to perform anaerobic digestion of the organic waste introduced thereinto; a gas refinery and power plant having a cogeneration plant adapted to perform cogeneration using the biogas produced in the anaerobic digestion facility; a composting and liquefaction facility having a solid-liquid separator adapted to separate the organic waste fed from the anaerobic digesters of the anaerobic digestion facility into liquid and sludge; and an odor treatment facility for purifying the odor emitted from the mixed equalization tank.

摘要: A system for removing PFAS from a solution having PFAS therein using foam fractionation is featured. The system includes at least one first foam fractionation subsystem including a vessel configured to receive the solution having PFAS therein and configured to generate microbubbles, turbulence, and foam to remove a majority of the PFAS and generate a treated solution and a flow of foam having the removed PFAS therein. The system also includes a heating and dehumidification subsystem coupled to the at least one foam fractionation subsystem and configured to generate a flow of heated dehumidified gas. The at least one foam fractionation subsystem is configured to output the flow of foam having the removed PFAS therein into the flow of heated dehumidified gas such that the flow of a heated dehumidified gas collapses the flow of foam having the removed PFAS therein into a flow of liquid having the removed PFAS therein.

摘要: A fluid decontamination apparatus is provided having a container body with a plurality of three-dimensional open structure (3DOS) substrates spaced about therein, wherein a contaminated fluid flowing through the container body will contact the 3DOS substrates. Nozzles can be inserted and secured within inlet apertures disposed about the container body, configured to inject the contaminated fluid with/without air to induce the occurrence of hydrodynamic cavitation. The substrates can be porous and permeable enabling the contaminated fluid to flow therethrough, wherein the fluid flow passageway through the pores extends the volume of contaminated fluid exposed to turbulent and cavitation inducing flow conditions. Moreover, the 3DOS substrates may be coated with one or more types of catalysts so as to initiate chemical reactions. As such, the extended exposure of the contaminated fluid to hydrodynamic cavitation forming conditions, along with the chemical reactions carried out on the porous surfaces, enable an increased number of toxic species and unwanted organic compounds to be destroyed and/or altered, thereby enhancing the decontamination of the flowing fluid.
