摘要: An occupied seat detection device includes: at least one receiver that is disposed in a space including a plurality of seats and receives at least one of sound generated inside the space or sound generated outside the space; an acoustic characteristics analyzer that calculates, from a signal received by the at least one receiver, temporal characteristics or frequency characteristics of the sound in the space; and a detector that detects whether an occupant is present or whether an occupied seat is present inside the space, based on the temporal characteristics or the frequency characteristics calculated by the acoustic characteristics analyzer, and outputs a detection result.

摘要: A garment comprising an inflatable protective device. The inflatable protective device includes at least one inflatable bag, an inflator unit designed for inflating the at least one inflatable bag, sensors designed for monitoring the user's body for detecting shocks or unexpected movements, and a control unit designed for processing the data provided by the sensors and for activating the inflator unit if, on the basis of the data received by the sensors, a danger situation is identified. The control unit includes storing means containing at least two different setup parameter sets and/or firmwares of the control unit for controlling the activation of the inflator unit. The control unit is further provided with selecting means for selecting one of the said at least two different setup parameter sets and/or firmwares. Also a method for adjusting the operational modes of the inflatable protective device of the garment.

摘要: A retrofit system for the monitoring of seatbelt status in mass transit vehicles is adapted for retrofitting in different existing vehicles and includes a plurality of non-contact position sensors each associated with the buckle and tongue of a seatbelt, and a seat pan upholstery module with a seat occupancy sensor fixed to its inner side. The sensor of the non-contact position sensors is adapted to be fixed to an external surface of the buckle housing. A monitoring unit is coupled to the non-contact position sensors and occupancy sensors and to a display of seatbelt status comprising an indication that, when each of the seats is occupied, whether the respective seatbelt is in the fastened positioned or a released position.

摘要: A longitudinal adjustment mechanism for a vehicle seat may have a first rail and a second rail. The rails may engage about one another to form an inner channel. A spindle nut may be connected to the second rail and a spindle operationally connected to the spindle nut may be arranged in the inner channel. On one end of the first rail, a transmission may be driven by a motor, which may interact with the spindle. The spindle may be screwed into an internal thread of a worm gear of the transmission, and the spindle may be conjointly connected by a fixing element to the worm gear. The fixing element may be arranged coaxially to a spindle axle of the spindle and may be pressed between a front end portion of the spindle and the worm gear. A vehicle seat having the longitudinal adjustment mechanism is also provided.

The partition separates an interior of the body into a cab area and a cargo area. The floor defines a first interface within the cab area and a second interface within the cargo area. The first interface and the second interface are discrete and not connected. The seating unit includes a frame assembly having a pair of legs that engage with the first interface and the second interface such that the seating unit is selectively repositionable between (a) a first position forward of the partition and within the cab area and (b) a second position rearward of the partition and within the cargo area.

A sensor unit includes a sensor module including a biological sensor that detects a biological signal of a seated occupant, and a wireless communication unit that is connected to the biological sensor to wirelessly transmit the detected biological signal to an outside; and a sensor holder that holds the sensor module. The sensor holder includes a seat attachment portion detachably attached to an attached portion that is provided in a front surface of a seat cushion at a position at which the seated occupant is abuttable against the attached portion.
