Abstract: One form of an in-vehicle sound emitting device includes a front case and a rear case. The front case is partitioned from the rear case by a partition plate made from a metal plate. Rear space inside the rear case is sealed, and an electronic circuit is disposed in the rear space. A loudspeaker is mounted in front space inside the front case. By using two of the partition plates having the same structure, the front case having the incorporated loudspeaker and the rear case having the incorporated electronic circuit can be disposed separately.

Abstract: A transducer includes a flexible substrate, a piezoelectric element formed on a surface of the flexible substrate, and a support member, in which holes are formed, having a higher rigidity than the flexible substrate. The surface of the flexible substrate has an element region in which the piezoelectric element is continuous in a planar direction of the piezoelectric element. The support member is stacked to the flexible substrate in a manner such that the holes face the element region. The flexible substrate is freely movable in each of the holes, and a region of the flexible substrate corresponding to a region other than the holes of the support member is fixed to the support member.

Abstract: With a vehicle-mounted acoustic device, a bass-reflex speaker system, composed of an enclosure, ducts, and a speaker unit, is accommodated in a head restraint. Each duct has a large ratio of the duct length to the area of the duct cross section to increase the load mass of air in the duct, so that the resonant frequency of the vibration unit in the speaker unit can be set in a frequency band lower than the resonant frequency of a Helmholtz resonator. Thus, sound pressure in a low-frequency band equal to or lower than the resonant frequency of the Helmholtz resonator can be emphasized and the emphasized sound pressure can be given to the ear.

Abstract: A speaker that is configured to emit ultrasonic waves includes an ultrasonic emission unit, a reflector, and a louver unit. The louver unit is configured to inhibit entry of foreign matter into the ultrasonic emission unit.
