摘要: An apparatus for vacuumizing and sealing a package includes a plurality of platens and vacuum chambers, each chamber adapted to mate with a dedicated one of the platens; a conveying system for conveying the platens and chambers along a generally angular path having a single axis of rotation; an automated loading assembly having a linear component and configured to load a package onto each of the platens; an automated unloading assembly having a linear portion and configured to unload a vacuumized, sealed package from each loaded platen onto an outfeed conveyor; and a vacuumizing/sealing system configured to cause relative movement of each chamber/platen pair, along a portion of the angular path, to form therebetween an air-tight enclosure accommodating the package and effect vacuumization and sealing of the package.

摘要: The invention is a device for welding two overlapping film sections situated on one side of a goods stack. The device includes a welding bar with a welding surface oriented in the direction of the film sections to be welded. The spacing between the welding bar and the film sections is reducible. The welding surface is elastically deformable into a concave course and/or to a convex course between its two ends. At least one displacing device adjusts the course of the welding surface to a concave and/or to a convex course. The displacing device displaces welding bar. A control unit of the welding bar individually controllable, such that the curvature of the welding bar is adjustable to the contour of the side of the goods stack in the region of the film sections to be welded with one another for the subsequent welding of the overlapping film sections.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a heating device capable of uniform sealing, uniformly applying heat at a constant temperature to the entire sealing portion of the to-be-sealed object to heat and seal the entire sealing portion at a constant temperature, thereby providing the uniform sealing thickness. A heating device capable of uniform sealing according to the disclosure comprises a heater for heating the sealing portion of the to-be-sealed object; a heat source supplier for supplying a heat source for heating to the heater; a heat transfer part accommodated in the heater, and transferring the heat source to the heater to heat the entire heater at a uniform temperature, and an additional heat transfer part disposed on the outer surface of the heat transfer part to conduct the heat source to the heater and in contact with the inner surface of the heater.

摘要: A protective packaging formation device is provided herein. The device includes an inflation assembly having a fluid conduit that directs fluid between overlapping plies of a polymeric web. The device also includes a driving mechanism that drives the film in a downstream direction. The device also includes a sealing mechanism that includes a thin film heater that heats the plies to create a longitudinal seal that seals the plies of film together. The driving mechanism drives the web such that the web slides across the heating assembly in a downstream direction to trap fluid between the plies.

摘要: A film-closure apparatus is provided which is suitable for closing plastic film material using heat. The apparatus comprises a guide path along which at least part of a plastics film material can pass; a drive means for moving the film material along the guide path; and a printed circuit board comprising a circuit substrate having first and second major board surfaces and a perimeter edge surface, and an electrically conductive heating element which is provided on the circuit substrate along at least part of the perimeter edge surface. The electrically conductive heating element is positionable on the guide path to apply heat to the film material thereon.
