摘要: A method cuts a, in particular flat, workpiece by a cutting beam and a cutting fluid. A workpiece part to be cut away is consecutively cut into at least two smaller portions which fall or are lowered downwards from a surrounding remaining workpiece after they have each been cut away. The division into smaller portions and the execution of the cut for separating the first smaller portion occur such that the point at which the first-cut, first smaller portion is cut away lies within the outer contour of the workpiece part to be cut away.

摘要: Machine for recycling tyres by recovering the tyre tread rubber using waterjets. The machine comprises a loading unit for loading a tread, a processing unit, the processing unit comprising a framework comprising a preprocessing zone, a processing zone and a postprocessing design. The preprocessing zone drives a cut tread towards the processing zone. The processing zone comprises a processing module designed to direct a waterjet onto the recovered tread. The preprocessing zone comprises motorized guide rollers and presence sensors arranged in such a way as to allow a second tread to catch up with a first tread in such a way as to reduce, to the point of closing up, the space between two treads.

摘要: Apparatuses described herein relate to coniditioning an edge of a substrate using a water jet. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a nozzle connected on a receiving end with a connecting tube to receive a water jet that is a stream of water accelerated at a high velocity to generate a high pressure for cutting a substrate, where the water jet exits through the nozzle. The appartus further includes a deflector coupled to the nozzle, where the deflector splits the water jet into a cutting stream of water for cutting the substrate and an angled stream of water for conditioning an edge of the substrate.

摘要: This invention relates to a cutting apparatus for cutting food items conveyed on a conveyor including at least one conveyor belt. A cutter is arranged above a gap extending across the at least one conveyor belt. The cutter is positioned in relation to the gap such that the cutting path of the cutter extends through the food items and the gap and below the surface level of the at least one conveyor belt. The cutter is adapted to be connected to a control mechanism for operating crosswise movement of the cutter along the gap. The gap is formed between adjacent elongated supporting means such as rollers with a fixed internal arrangement, where the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter is adapted to be connected to a control mechanism for operating back and forth movement of the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter parallel to the conveying direction while maintaining the internal arrangement of the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter fixed.

摘要: An embodiment of the present application provides a processing method including a collecting step and a cutting step. The collecting step involves collecting a lithium ion battery including: an electrode body; a battery case housing the electrode body; and an electrode terminal connected to the electrode body and partially exposed to outside of the battery case. The cutting step involves cutting a connection between the electrode terminal and the electrode body of the collected lithium ion battery by using a water jet cutter. The processing method includes no lithium ion battery discharging step between the collecting step and the cutting step.

摘要: An impact tool includes a core and a plurality of projections. The core is formed of a first material that has a first specific gravity and each projection is formed of a second material that has a second specific gravity. The plurality of projections is configured on the core such that at least two projections intersect a first hypothetical plane disposed on the first side of the core and at least two projections intersect a second hypothetical plane disposed on the second side of the core and that is opposably facing the first side. Each of the first and second hypothetical planes is disposed a distance from the central lengthwise axis of the core that is greater than the radius of the core and less than the sum of the radius of the core and the length of a projection.

摘要: The invention features methods and apparatuses for altering a cutting operation during operation of the pressurized liquid jet cutting system. A pressurized liquid jet cutting system includes a pressurized fluid jet cutting head having a plurality of components. The cutting head further includes a sensor configured to sense an operating condition. The sensor transmits a value of the operating condition to a computing device, which alters a subsequent cutting operation. Further, the fluid jet cutting head is configured to work with a data storage mechanism and a reader, such that the data storage mechanism in contact with a body of the fluid jet cutting head is configured to communicate information to a reader of the pressurized liquid jet cutting system. The information is usable to determine a condition of replacement (e.g., a remaining usable life) of the replaceable component, change an operating pressure, change a cutting speed, or alter another operating parameter of the pressurized liquid jet cutting system.
