    摘要: A tool holder for firmly holding a wide range of sizes and shapes of tool handles includes a holder handle, a cage assembly, a clamp, a locking coupling, and a threaded actuator. The cage assembly includes a pair of axially spaced apart supports having axially aligned through openings sized for receiving tool handles of different sizes and shapes. The clamp is transversely movable between the supports in opposite directions for releasably clamping the tool handle against the supports. The locking coupling is interposed between the holder handle and the cage assembly for selectively adjusting the angular orientation of the cage assembly relative to the holder handle. The threaded actuator is operable to lock or unlock the locking coupling for permitting or restricting adjustment of the angular orientation of the cage assembly relative to the holder handle.

    摘要: A robotic drilling apparatus is described which has been adapted for drilling holes in ceilings and walls on a construction site. The apparatus (100) comprises a robotic arm (110) mounted to a substructure (112), the substructure comprising a lifting mechanism arranged to lift the robotic arm to a working position, wherein the robotic arm has a base end (110a) and a movable end (110b), the base end being mounted to an upper surface (114) of the lifting mechanism and the movable end being capable of movement with respect to the base end in a three dimensional space, wherein the robotic drilling apparatus further comprises a mount (120) provided on the movable end for holding a drilling device (122) and a control unit (134) for controlling the operation of the robotic arm. The lifting mechanism preferably comprises a scissor-jack lifting platform. The robotic arm (110) and any support structure (134) for the robotic arm weighs less than 43 kg, and preferably individually weigh less than 23 kg.

    摘要: A tool that mounts on a power driver or other tool for installing framing members in a building ensures proper and uniform spacing of the framing members. A support that may be a C-shaped band clamp removably attaches to the power tool. A generally tubular gauge body snap-attaches in place and a slide member disposed within the gauge body is adjustable to extend a sufficient amount so the combined length of the tubular gauge body and the extended slide member provide a proper spacing for the framing members. A slide lock for holds the slide member at the extended position. This allows the measuring and installation to be done without the installer having to set the power tool down or use a ruler or tape measure once the spacing is established.
