摘要: Apparatus, methods and systems for nano/micro machining. A lathe head has a microscopic pivot aperture for seating a conical tip. The conical tip is carried on a turnable part at one end thereof and is polished down to a microscopic apex. The microscopic pivot aperture is dimensioned for seating the concentric tip in the pivot aperture such that an apex of the conical tip protrudes through and beyond the aperture to a position in close proximity with the aperture. A driver system can comprise a rotator for axially rotating the turnable part, including the conical tip seated in the pivot aperture, and a forward pressure applicator for concurrently applying forward pressure to the conical tip in the direction of the pivot aperture. A light/particle beam system can be utilized to machine the rotating conical tip and the rotating turnable part, including the tip, can be easily removed after machining.

摘要: An outer member and an inner member constituting a wheel bearing device are assembled and the brake rotor is fixed to the hub ring of the inner member. In this state, the pad slide surfaces of the brake rotor are lathed with the reference provided by a wheel pilot end surface. Alternatively, the wheel pilot end surface of the hub ring by chucking the knuckle pilot of the outer member with the wheel bearing device put in its assembled state, and the pad slide surfaces of the brake rotor are lathed with the reference provided by the wheel pilot end surface.

摘要: The invention relates to a machine for processing plastic workpieces. A machine housing surrounds a working chamber located between a workpiece spindle for rotationally driving the workpieces about a workpiece axis of rotation and a fast tool servo for producing an oscillating feeding movement of a rotary tool in the direction of the workpieces. The workpiece spindle is provided with a carriage which can be driven and is guided on at least two guide surfaces of a guiding arrangement in order to produce a relative advancing movement between the workpiece and the rotary tool. The advancing movement runs transversely with respect to the feeding movement and defining therewith a processing plane in which during processing the rotary tool engages with the workpiece. The guiding arrangement is mounted on the machine housing such that the processing plane extends between the two guide surfaces.

摘要: The present invention is a rotary head tool that is a self-propelled rotary tool (SPRT) operable for round cutting involving hard turning. The rotary head tool comprises generally a toolholder, a tool that is removably or fixedly connectable to the toolholder, and an insert that that incorporates a cutting edge finable into the tool. The toolholder is formed to hold the tool with the insert therein at a particular angle. Elements of the rotary head tool of the present invention, such as the insert, may be “off the shelf elements and consequently the present invention may be produced at a low cost. Embodiments of the present invention are designed so that the rotary head tool provides economical benefits and affordability for the user and to provide performance benefits of SPRTs.

摘要: Instead of receiving universal joint crosses (1) like in the prior art in a special chuck of a turning machine and machining one respective pinion (2) and subsequently cycling the work piece by 90°, a contact surface (18) with a clamping device (19) is provided in the operating area according to the invention, wherein the raw part can be placed on the clamping device and can be clamped so that two opposite faces can be machined in this first clamping step including machining centering boreholes, wherein clamping is performed thereafter between centering points (22) at the centering boreholes for machining the adjacent enveloping surfaces.After a cycling by 90° on this contact surface (18) the same steps are performed for the second pair of pinions, wherein machining the aligned pinions (2) can even he performed simultaneously if the machinery is configured accordingly.

摘要: A lathe machine includes a tailstock unit having a bottom seat driven by a saddle of a turret unit to move longitudinally relative to a headstock by means of a first coupler unit, and a tailstock mount mounted on the bottom seat and driven by a turret mount to move transversely by means of a second coupler unit such that a selected one of a centering mandrel and a drilling tool holder disposed on the tailstock mount is in line with a spindle axis of the headstock. A positioning unit includes blocking and abutment members respectively disposed on the bottom seat and the tailstock mount and having rightward- and leftward-facing inclined surfaces which matingly abut against each other to permit the centering mandrel to be kept in line with the spindle axis, thereby rendering the centering process easy and precise.

The device includes a fixture arranged to receive the cable and to hold the cable in a fixed position, the fixture defines an elongated space for accommodating the cable, a tool for removing material from the cable including at least one cutter, and rotational guiding means for guiding a first rotation of the cutter about a longitudinal axis of the space. The cutter is elongated and the longitudinal axis of the cutter is arranged inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the space so that the angle between the longitudinal axes of the cutter and the space is between 10 and 80 degrees. The device further includes drive means for providing a second rotation of the cutter about a rotational axis through the tool in order to cause the machining.

摘要: A rose engine apparatus is disclosed for attaching to a lathe having a lathe bed and a headstock with a rotatable spindle. The apparatus includes a pivotal attaching means for pivotally attaching the headstock with the lathe bed. At least one cam is selectively fixable to a cam attachment means fixed to the spindle of the headstock, each cam having a continuous, variable radius along a peripheral edge thereof. A cam roller is fixed with the lathe bed so as to make contact with the peripheral edge of a selected cam. A biasing spring urges the selected cam against the roller means, such that the headstock pivots with respect to the lathe bed as a function of the variable radius of the selected cam, as the spindle and workpiece rotates. As such, cutting operations can be performed on the workpiece that correspond to the variable radius of the selected cam. The apparatus may be bypassed to allow conventional operation of the lathe without removing the apparatus therefrom.
