摘要: An apparatus to simulate biocide performance in crude oil pipeline conditions is disclosed. The apparatus includes: a reactor to simulate a two-phase crude oil pipeline which includes a crude oil phase above a water phase. The reactor has an agitator to control a flow of the water phase in the reactor in response to a motor that drives an agitation rate of the agitator. A crude oil inlet supplies crude oil to the reactor for the crude oil phase. A water inlet supplies water to the reactor for the water phase. A control circuit is configured by code to control a proportion of the water to the crude oil supplied to the reactor and to control the motor to drive a desired agitation rate of the agitator. A biocide inlet supplies biocide to the reactor. A water sample outlet enables sampling of the water phase of the reactor.

摘要: Process for the preparation of urea granules comprising the steps of obtaining an aqueous urea solution from one or more synthesis and recovery steps wherein ammonia and carbon dioxide are reacted together, subjecting the aqueous urea solution to an evaporation step wherein water is removed to obtain a urea melt (1), processing and treating said urea melt in a granulation step (7) and optionally in a cooling section (10) to obtain solid urea granules (14); the process further comprises a scrubbing step (3) of granulation offgas and an atmospheric evaporation step (32) to recover a urea solution (2) and a water-saturated air stream (18): the water-saturated air stream is fed back to the scrubbing section (3) without condensation, and the recovered urea solution is conveyed to the granulation step (7).

摘要: The invention relates to a generator and its operation and use for generating toroidal and spatial vortices in a liquid. It comprises a rotationally symmetrical stator housing with an inlet opening and an eccentric outlet opening. It further comprises a rotor rotatably arranged in the stator housing with radially outwardly extending channels in constant fluid connection to the inlet opening. The rotor comprises a rotor disc, radially outside of the rotor with a side surface with inner notches in fluid connection to the rotor channels. The stator housing comprises a stator disc comprising a side surface with stator notches. When these notches face each other due to rotation of the rotor disc, a periodical liquid flow from the inner notches to the stator notches is formed and toroidal vortices are generated in the portioned liquid by shear stress as the portions of liquid move back and forth in the notches.

In certain versions, the adhesives or pre-adhesive compositions include two initiators and are polymerized and/or crosslinked by exposure to actinic radiation such as UV light or electron beam radiation. Also described are pre-adhesive compositions including polymerizable monomers, articles including the adhesives, and various methods and systems related to the adhesives and their application. In addition, various apparatuses are described for polymerizing or crosslinking the compositions.

摘要: Methods related generally to the removal of atmospheric pollutants from the gas phase, are provided, as well as related apparatus, processes and uses thereof. A single-stage air scrubbing apparatus is provided that includes at least one reaction vessel, at least one introduction duct, and a turbulence component, wherein a residence time is sufficient to allow the conversion of at least one atmospheric pollution compound to at least one other compound, molecule or atom. In some embodiments, the at least one atmospheric pollution compound comprises nitrogen oxide, sulfur oxide or a combination thereof. Additionally, methods of removing atmospheric pollution compounds from a waste gas stream are disclosed that include introducing a waste gas stream and at least one additional gas stream, mist stream, liquid stream or combination thereof into a single-stage air scrubbing apparatus at a flow rate sufficient to allow for conversion of the at least one atmospheric pollution compound.

摘要: A rotary bladed apparatus (100) for processing feedstocks in a process fluid is provided, said apparatus comprises means for adjusting position of a working blade cascade of the rotor (3) relative to stator components (2, 4) in a longitudinal direction of a rotor shaft (1). Adjustment is performed through axial displacement of the rotor (3) or, alternatively, through axial displacement of the reactor housing (22 A, 32A). A method for improving process efficiency and for regulating flow losses during processing of feedstocks in a process fluid, in particular, in off-design conditions in the bladed apparatus (100) is further provided. In embodiments, processing of feedstocks includes thermal- or thermochemical cracking of hydrocarbon-containing feedstock.
