A second transmit power corresponding to the second resource is determined based on the second insertion loss. A first signal is sent on the first resource based on the first transmit power. 摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling transmit power in a wireless local area network (WLAN). For example, a station may receive, from an access point (AP), a beacon frame that includes a field indicating a maximum transmission power for at least one of a plurality of operational bandwidth that the AP supports. The station may determine a transmission power for a signal to be transmitted to the AP based on the at least one of the plurality of operational bandwidths indicated in the received beacon. The station may then transmit the signal at the determined transmission power.

摘要: A communication device, method and computer program product optimized additional maximum power reduction (A-MPR) during cooperative concurrent uplink transmission. The communication device configures a communications subsystem to perform cooperative concurrent uplink transmissions mode(s). The communications subsystem has transmit chains that include a first transmit chain and a second transmit chain. In response to determining that the first transmit chain has a higher system efficiency level than the second transmit chain, the controller allocates a larger portion of transmit power to the first transmit chain and a smaller portion of the transmit power to the second transmit chain to reduce overall power consumption by the communications subsystem. In response to determining that the first and second transmit chains have an equal efficiency level, the controller allocates equal transmit power to the first and second transmit chains. The controller configures the communications subsystem to communicate an uplink using the allocated power.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of determining a transmission power for device to device, D2D, transmissions between a first user equipment device and a second user equipment device using transmission resources being used for transmissions to a cellular network entity by a third user equipment device, the method comprising determining a measure of a path loss between the cellular network entity and the first user equipment device, and using the measure of the path loss to determine a maximum transmission power such that the D2D transmissions are received at the cellular network entity with a signal level around or below a noise level.
