Abstract:
An information processing device includes a control unit that determines whether or not a terminal device and an imaging device are associated with each other on the basis of first identification information received from the terminal device and second identification information received from the imaging device, and sets the terminal device as a destination of transmission of a return video image on the basis of a determination result.
Abstract:
A platform for audio and electronic music applications where the electronics are implemented as modules, and the modules mount in a cabinet with a common power supply and infrastructure. The platform addresses problems in electrical, mechanical, usability, and power distribution areas, and is suitable for guitar effects, synthesizers, studio equipment, and DJ gear.
Abstract:
A method and system for airing broadcast signals is disclosed. Preferably, the system includes a production truck interface panel receiving a broadcast signal. A transmission relay circuit relays the signal from the interface panel to a broadcast network, and preferably including a broadcast signal detection circuit, and a signal processing circuit. The detection circuit determines a signal type of the broadcast signal, and the signal processing circuit processes the determined signal type. The system preferably further includes an operations control station displaying the determined type of broadcast signal. The method for airing broadcast signals over the broadcast network preferably includes the steps of providing the broadcast signal to the transmission relay circuit, detecting the broadcast signal type with the broadcast signal sensing and discerning circuit; and reconfiguring the signal processing circuit when the configuration of the signal processing circuit does not support transmission of the determined broadcast signal type.
Abstract:
A method for automatically starting an audio recording that includes receiving audio data and dividing the audio data into a first set of consecutive segments and a second set of consecutive segments that occur after the first set. The method further includes analyzing the first set of segments by measuring an average energy and peak value for each segment of the first set and determining a silence score therefrom, and analyzing the second set of segments by measuring an average energy and peak value for each segment of the second set and determining an music score therefrom. The method begins a recording of the audio data if the silence score is above a first predetermined value and the music score is above a second predetermined value.
Abstract:
A method for visually representing a recording session on a display, the method including displaying, by a processor on a display device, an icon having a shape, receiving audio data, and generating pulses that radiate outwardly, concentrically, and separately from the icon. A timing of the pulses may correspond to audio events within the audio data, a starting size of the pulses may correspond to an amplitude of the audio events within the audio data, and a spacing between consecutive pulses may correspond to a timing between the audio events within the audio data. The radiating pulses can be circular and may expand outwardly from the icon. The audio events may include audio transients. The icon can be circular, polygonal, three-dimensional (e.g., spherical), or the like.
Abstract:
An electronic percussion instrument controller includes a selection input device, a setting input device and a processor. The selection input device is configured to select an instrument which defines a tone that corresponds to a musical performance input device. The setting input device is configured to selectively set a tone lock for the musical performance input device. The processor is programmed to maintain a set tone of the musical performance input device for which the tone lock is set by the setting device.
Abstract:
A tactical audio distribution device may include a housing. A plurality of connection jacks may be coupled to the housing. A plurality of microphone input signal connection points may be contained in the housing and may be in electrical communication with at least a portion of the connection jacks. At least one digital audio matrix processor may be contained in the housing. The at least one digital audio matrix processor may be configured to receive audio signals based on audio signals from microphones, to combine those signals into a mixed audio signal, and to output the mixed audio signal. A plurality of headphones output signal connection points may be contained in the housing and be in electrical communication with at least some of the connection jacks and may be configured to receive signals based on the mixed audio signal.

Abstract:
A battery powered, portable multi-channel audio mixing console is disclosed. The mixing console is configured to be easily held in a user's hand like a remote control. The console is configured to wirelessly receive, via separate channels, two or more independent stereo input audio signals from separate audio sources such as cellular phones, iPads, iPods, or other computing or media player devices, independently equalize the frequencies of those input signals, independently adjust the volume of those input signals, and then mix those audio signals into a combined output signal. The console further includes user controls that can vary the relative magnitude of the first and second input signals in the combined output signal. The console is further adapted to transmit the combined output signal to one or more speakers via independent channels.
Abstract:
A wireless communications network includes roving subscriber-stations and base stations receiving broadcast programs from a content server. A subscriber-station evaluates whether a desired program is available from a subject base station. According to this evaluation, the subscriber-station takes steps to (1) receive the desired program on a shared channel for reception by multiple subscriber-stations, or (2) initiate base station delivery of the desired program to the subscriber-station on an individual channel. Responsive to a message from a subject subscriber-station identifying a desired program, a base station either (1) continues transmitting the desired program upon a shared channel, (2) starts transmitting the desired program on a shared channel, or (3) sends the subject subscriber-station a channel assignment message and commences transmission of the desired program on the assigned individual channel.
