    摘要: The invention generally pertains to a hand-held computing device. More particularly, the invention pertains to a computing device that is capable of controlling the speed of the music so as to affect the mood and behavior of the user during an activity such as exercise. By way of example, the speed of the music can be controlled to match the pace of the activity (synching the speed of the music to the activity of the user) or alternatively it can be controlled to drive the pace of the activity (increasing or decreasing the speed of the music to encourage a greater or lower pace). One aspect of the invention relates to adjusting the tempo (or some other attribute) of the music being outputted from the computing device. By way of example, a songs tempo may be increased or decreased before or during playing. Another aspect of the invention relates to selecting music for outputting based on tempo (or some other attribute). For example, the computing device may only play songs having a particular tempo. Yet another aspect of the invention relates to both selecting music based on tempo and adjusting the tempo of the music.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a method and a device for audio signal classification, and relates to the field of communications technologies, which solve a problem of high complexity of type classification of audio signals in the prior art. In the present invention, after an audio signal to be classified is received, a tonal characteristic parameter of the audio signal to be classified, where the tonal characteristic parameter of the audio signal to be classified is in at least one sub-band, is obtained, and a type of the audio signal to be classified is determined according to the obtained characteristic parameter. The present invention is mainly applied to an audio signal classification scenario, and implements audio signal classification through a relatively simple method.

    摘要: In an information detecting apparatus (1), a speech kind discrimination unit (11) discriminates and classifies an audio signal at an information source into kind (category) such as music or speech, etc. on a predetermined time basis, and a memory unit/recording medium (13) records discrimination information thereof. A discrimination frequency calculating unit (15) calculates, on a predetermined time basis, discrimination frequency every kind at a predetermined time period longer than the time unit. A time period start/end judgment unit (16) is operative so that in the case where discrimination frequency of a certain kind becomes equal to a predetermined threshold value or more for the first time, and the state where the discrimination frequency is the threshold value or more is continued by a predetermined time, start of continuous time period of the kind is detected, and in the case where the discrimination frequency becomes equal to the predetermined threshold value or less for the first time, and the state where the discrimination frequency is the threshold value or less is continued by a predetermined time, end of continuous time period of the kind is detected.

To obtain the music information, audio of the multimedia content is retrieved, environmental noise is filtered out of the audio to generate filtered audio, a rhythm of the filtered audio is obtained, and the music information is generated based on the rhythm of the filtered audio. The music information is displayed simultaneously during playback of the multimedia content.

    摘要: A voice/music determining apparatus is configured to calculate first feature parameters for discriminating between a voice signal and a musical signal; and calculate second feature parameters for discriminating between a musical signal and a background-sound-superimposed voice signal. A first score is calculated to indicate likelihood that the input audio signal is a voice signal or a musical signal as a sum of weight-multiplied first feature parameters. A second score is calculated to indicate likelihood that the input audio signal is a musical signal or a background-sound-superimposed voice signal as a sum of weight-multiplied second feature parameters. It is determined whether the input audio signal is a voice signal or a musical signal on the basis of the first score. Further, it is determined whether the musical signal is the input audio signal is a background-sound-superimposed voice signal on the basis of the second score.
