    摘要: An electronic envelope detection circuit includes an input signal detecting circuit having at least one MOS transistor configured to receive a radiofrequency input signal and to deliver an internal signal on the basis of the input signal. The biasing point of the at least one transistor is controlled by the input signal and a control signal. A processing circuit that is coupled to the input signal detecting circuit is configured to deliver a low-frequency output signal on the basis of the internal signal and further deliver the control signal on the basis of the output signal. In operation, the value of the control signal decreases when the average power of the input signal increases, and vice versa.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in multichannel transmissions. A plurality of frequency-domain symbols may be generated and assigned to a plurality of subcarriers associated with a multichannel transmission. The subcarriers may be assigned to a plurality of channels used for the multichannel transmission, with a number of the channels being different than a number of the subcarriers. A plurality of time-domain signals corresponding to the plurality of channels may be generated, and an adjustment may be applied to at least one time-domain signal, to generate a corresponding adjusted time-domain signal. The adjustment may be configured based on one or more characteristic associated with at least two of the frequency-domain symbols. Handling related information may be communicated form the transmit-side to the receive-side, such as using spare carriers, to enable handling an output corresponding to the plurality of time-domain signals.

A device processor may determine whether a transmission power from the mobile communication device is greater than or equal to a transmit power threshold. The device processor may determine whether a ratio of interference in a received signal to a level of the received signal including noise (interference ratio) is greater than or equal to an interference ratio threshold in response to determining that the transmission power is greater than or equal to the transmit power threshold. The device processor may perform interference cancellation with the adaptive interference filter in response to determining that the interference ratio is greater than or equal to the interference ratio threshold. In some embodiments the adaptive interference filter may be a non-linear interference cancellation filter.

    摘要: A multicarrier radio frequency (RF) transceiver implementing dynamic spectrum access (DSA) is capable of sensing a spectral environment and transmitting an RF signal at the same time. The transceiver can cancel an RF transmit signal component within a composite receive signal using a combination of analog and digital cancellation. In one embodiment, analog RF cancellation is performed to reduce the level of a transmit signal component of a composite receive signal before the signal reaches an RF receiver. The RF cancellation may be used to reduce the transmit signal component to a level that maintains the linear operation of the RF receiver. Digital cancellation may be performed to reduce transmit signal remnants within an output signal of the RF receiver. Digital cancellation may be performed on a subcarrier-by-subcarrier basis in some implementations.

    摘要: Radio frequency (RF) receivers having whitened digital clocks and related methods are disclosed. Disclosed embodiments generate whitened clocks having random variations that are used to operate digital processing blocks so that interference created by the whitened clocks is seen as white noise within the received RF signal spectrum. RF input signals are received by RF front-ends (RFFEs) that output analog signals associated with channels within the RF input signals. These analog signals are converted to digital information and processed by digital receive path circuitry that outputs digital data associated with the channel. The digital receive path circuitry includes a whitened clock generator that generates a whitened clock having random variations and which a digital processing block that operates based upon the whitened clock. Further, the RFFE and the digital receive path circuitry are located within a single integrated circuit.
