    摘要: A system and method for controlling a speed of a permanent magnet AC motor (38) based on a delay angle of a triac-controlled AC voltage signal (66) from a triac (34). A simulated load (54) connected to the triac (34) enables a load current and creates the signal (66). A first detector (48) detects a zero-crossing point of the AC voltage signal, and a second detector (50) detects a subsequent turn-on instance of the triac (34). A speed command generator (52) measures an interval between the zero-crossing point and the subsequent turn-on instance, and converts the delay angle to a speed command for controlling the speed of the motor (38). The simulated load (54) may include resistors (70) having a resistance which causes the load current to be below a holding current rating of the triac (34), thereby causing the triac (34) to turn off after the interval has been measured.

    摘要: A drive circuit for an electric motor having a wound stator and a permanent magnet rotor, includes a controllable bidirectional AC switch connected in series with a stator winding between two terminals for connecting to an AC power supply. First and second position sensors detect the position of magnetic poles of the rotor. A voltage regulating circuit is connected between the two terminals and the controllable bidirectional AC switch and configured to supply power to the first sensor during the positive cycle and to the second position sensor during the negative cycle of the AC power supply such that the controllable bidirectional AC switch is switched between a conductive state and a non-conductive state in a preset manner, thus enabling the stator to rotate the rotor in only one predetermined direction during start-up.

The motor driving circuit includes a bidirectional alternating current switch connected in series with a motor across two terminals of an external alternating current power supply, where the bidirectional alternating current switch is connected between a first node and a second node; a rectifying circuit; a magnetic sensor, configured to detect a magnetic field of a rotor and output a corresponding magnetic inductive signal; a first voltage drop circuit and a second voltage drop circuit connected in series between the first input terminal of the rectifying circuit and the first node, where there is a third node between the first voltage drop circuit and the second voltage drop circuit, and the first voltage drop circuit is connected between the first node and the third node; a switch circuit connected between the third node and a control terminal of the bidirectional alternating current switch, where the switch circuit includes a first terminal, a second terminal, a control terminal and a switch arranged between the first terminal and the second terminal; and a switch control circuit connected between the control terminal of the switch circuit and an output terminal of the magnetic sensor.

    摘要: The present application discloses an apparatus including: a motor model that reflects a characteristic of a motor and includes at least inputs pertaining to a first quantity of state and a second quantity of state and an output pertaining to a third quantity of state; a comparator that calculates a difference between the third quantity of state in an actual motor and the third quantity of state output from the motor model; and an amplifier that amplifies an output of the comparator at a predetermined gain. The first quantity of state in the actual motor is input into the motor model as the first quantity of state, and an output of the amplifier is input into the motor model as the second quantity of state. The apparatus then uses the output of the amplifier as an estimated value of the second quantity of state in the actual motor.

    摘要: Apparatus for using an a.c. power supply to bidirectionally drive a d.c. motor includes a first silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) having a cathode connected to a terminal of the motor and an anode connected to a circuit common junction. A second SCR has an anode connected to the motor terminal and a cathode connected to the common junction. An amplifier circuit including a PNP transistor connected in a common base configuration is connected between the gate of the first SCR and the common junction for selectively enabling or disabling the first SCR. Separate means are provided for selectively applying a signal to the amplifier circuit or to the gate of the second SCR for enabling the rotation of the motor in a first or second direction.

    摘要: An improved arrangement for controlling the speed and direction of rotation of a DC motor responds to a variable bipolar input signal. A bipolar threshold detector coupled to the motor is used for the selective triggering of a triac during the appropriate half wave polarity of an AC source. Triac failure is prevented by a protection circuit. The arrangement incorporates a speed servo and senses the voltage across the triac to detect the speed of the motor.

    摘要: A safety control device for a speed control circuit of a commutator motor having an ignition circuit includes a circuit for detecting an armature current and defining whether the commutator motor is energized with a supply current or with a free wheel current, a maintaining circuit for discriminating if the detected result is a continuously energized condition or an intermittent condition, and a bistable circuit. The maintaining circuit smoothes the detected voltage of the energized motor and maintains the voltage over at least one cycle of the power source and functions temporarily in an equivalent manner of continuous energization of the motor when power source is applied to the motor. The bistable circuit nullifies the ignition circuit of the motor control when the motor is in an intermittent energization and switches the ignition circuit into an effective condition as the maintaining circuit comes to accumulate the voltage above the predetermined level while no speed designation is made to the speed control circuit of the motor.
