    摘要: A motor driver includes an inverter, a multiphase pre-driver circuit, a controller and motor relays. The inverter includes pairs of an upper-arm switching element and a lower-arm switching element being connected in series between a ground line and a power supply line, and supplies power to a multiphase motor by converting direct current power of a battery. The multiphase pre-driver circuit drives the upper-arm and lower-arm switching elements. The controller commands the multiphase pre-driver circuit to drive the switching elements, and controls electrical conduction from the inverter to the multiphase motor. The motor relays interrupt a current flowing from the multiphase motor to the inverter during an off state. The multiphase pre-driver circuit includes a charge pump. The motor relays are turned on by an output voltage of the charge pump during an operation of the charge pump in a situation apart from that the controller provides an instruction.

    摘要: A motor drive circuit comprising: a motor bridge, comprising a bridge arm comprising upper and lower switches for each motor phase, which may be selectively closed to modulate voltage applied to the respective phases to drive signals from a motor control circuit, at least one solid-state-phase-isolation-relay (SSPIR) provided in series in an electrical path connecting a respective phase of the motor to a respective bridge arm, the SSPIR being closed in normal operation so that current can flow in the phase and held open in a fault mode of operation to prevent current flow, a monitoring arrangement for monitoring a current waveform in the phase to identify when it is safe to open the SSPIR without causing damage to the SSPIR due to an avalanche mode, and a control circuit that applies a voltage to each SSPIR that is sufficient to hold the SSPIR closed in normal operation is only opened when the current is in a safe operational area.

    摘要: A driving device is used with a compressor including a motor including coils. The driving device drives the motor. The driving device includes an inverter connected to the coils, a connection switching unit to switch a connection state of the coils between a first connection state and a second connection state, a controller to control the inverter and the connection switching unit, and a compressor state detection unit to detect a state of the compressor. When the connection state of the coils is the first connection state, the controller controls the motor based on a first detection value detected by the compressor state detection unit and a first threshold. When the connection state of the coils is the second connection state, the controller controls the motor based on a second detection value detected by the compressor state detection unit and a second threshold.
