    摘要: A cycloidal magnetic gear system for a turbine system is disclosed. The system includes a first stator magnet ring, a second stator magnet ring positioned opposite the first stator magnet ring, and a rotor positioned between the first and second stator rings of magnets. The rotor may include a first side positioned adjacent the first stator magnet ring, and a second side positioned adjacent the second stator magnet ring. The system may include a first rotor magnet ring affixed to the first side of the rotor, adjacent the first stator magnet ring. Additionally, the system may include a second rotor magnet ring affixed to the second side of the rotor, adjacent the second stator magnet ring. The rotor may be configured to rotate eccentrically about a center-axis of the first and/or second stator magnet ring.

    摘要: A liquid damper system for restraining vibrations generated in a rotating body includes: a liquid damper which is coaxially rotatable with the rotating body and includes a collision member, the collision member being provided in a casing in which liquid is enclosed and the liquid colliding with the collision member when moving in the circumferential direction; and a relative rotation unit configured to cause the liquid damper to rotate relative to the rotating body. Vibrations of a rotating body are effectively suppressed when a rotating body steadily rotates at a main resonance frequency, in the liquid damper system.

Employed to communicate an output force in a rotational direction from an input linear force communicated from a powered oscillation assembly, the magnetic force of the magnet communicating the force compresses the volume of ellipsoidal-like magnetic fields of the coupling alternately in unlike polar domains, to induce a smooth, blended polar continuity and communicate a continuous 360 degree rotational force to a rotation assembly operatively engaged with the magnetic coupling. The input force may be reversed to induce a continuous linear motion of a reciprocating assembly.

    摘要: Described herein are latching devices where relative speed of movement between members is in part controlled or reduced via eddy current formation and in part controlled or relative motion stopped via a latch arrangement. Various embodiments are described, one being use of a conductive member; at least one magnetic field and a latch member that, prior to latching, moves independently to the at least one conductive member. A kinematic relationship exists between the conductive member and at least one magnetic field that enables the conductive member to move at a different speed relative to the magnetic field on application of an energizing force, thereby inducing an eddy current drag force by relative movement of the conductive member in the magnetic field. The eddy current drag force resulting causes movement of the conductive member causing the conductive member to engage the latch member thereby halting movement between the at least one conductive member and the at least one latch member.
