    摘要: A system providing an electrical pulse to mechanically drive a first piezoelectric element upon receipt of an electrical signal from a mechanically driven second piezoelectric element. The system is adapted to provide a preselected frequency of from 16 to 115 impulses per second. The electrical signal from the second piezoelectric element is processed through a voltage comparator by comparison with a reference voltage and applied to a pulse stretcher circuit. The pulse stretcher circuit controls the gate of a silicon controlled rectifier which provides a signal from a power supply to an autotransformer that boosts the voltage from the power supply and applies the voltage to the second piezoelectric element. The pulse stretcher provides the additional function of preventing oscillation in the circuit.

    摘要: A piezoelectric resonator comprising a thin and flat plate of piezoelectric material having a recess provided at least on one of two major surfaces thereof and a pair of electrodes applied to both of the major surfaces at the position of the recess. The piezoelectric plate has a Poisson''s ratio of less than one third and mode in the thickness-extensional vibration when an electrical signal is applied between the electrodes. The relation between the thickness of the plate at the recess and the thickness of the plate at the flat part is such as to make the wave number of the flat part imaginary at the resonant frequency of the thickness-extensional vibration of the recess part.

    摘要: A feedback oscillator circuit provides a load waveform which is intentionally distorted, delivering plural and shifting frequency energy to and from a piezoelectric crystal transducer which operates an ultrasonic cleaner; the transducer is thus made to vibrate in timed bursts, while automatically shifting between different predominant frequencies during each burst. By adjusting specific circuit components, the duration and timing of predominant frequencies generated by the circuit is controlled. This automatic frequency shifting mode of operation provides improved cavitation, controllable for a specific desired result, and therefore provides superior cleaning in the cleaning tank.
