    摘要: A dual energy storage operating mechanism of an isolating switch is provided. A first energy storage mechanism and a second energy storage mechanism are provided between an input wheel and a housing and between the input wheel and an output wheel or a first output shaft, respectively. The output wheel is provided with a limiting mechanism. The limiting mechanism forms a locking effect on the output wheel when the first energy storage mechanism stores energy, thereby enabling the second energy storage mechanism to store energy at the same time. When the first energy storage mechanism starts to release energy, the locking effect of the limiting mechanism is released, so that the output wheel and the first output shaft can rotate, and the first energy storage mechanism and the second energy storage mechanism release energy at the same time, forming a dual energy storage boosting effect.

    摘要: A dual energy storage operating mechanism of an isolating switch is provided.     摘要: A switch actuator includes an operator plate which provides a structure for mounting the actuator and for supporting the remaining parts. An operator shaft receives torque from an operating handle and via mechanical coupling, transmits torque to a torque plate subassembly. The torque plate compresses a torsion spring which provides temporary energy storage for the switch actuator. The torsion spring acts on a reaction plate subassembly which mechanically couples the torque generated by the spring to a rotor tube to operate the switch contacts. A spring guide subassembly maintains the spring in a predefined region to prevent the spring from deforming into a non-energy storing position during operation. The operator shaft, torque plate, reaction plate, spring guide, and spring are nested substantially concentrically about a predefined mounting axis. Left and right cam followers and a pivot lever combine to form a latch mechanism to prevent the switch actuator from changing position except when operated by a user.

    摘要: A plug and socket connector comprises resilient contacts which are adapted to be engaged in bayonet fashion. Electrical contact between each input terminal and a corresponding socket connector-pin is established by coupling two contact studs, one contact stud being carried by a conductive arm rigidly attached to a connector pin, the other being attached to an electrical supply lead. When a plug and socket are disengaged, the contact studs being coupled are positioned in different relative angular positions with respect to the axis of the plug socket. The contact studs are placed into a position of angular coincidence by rotating the plug with respect to the socket. At the end of the rotation of the plug, each arm is subjected to an abrupt pivoting movement in which it is displaced toward an oppositely acting contact stud as a result of a release of the energy stored during the rotation.

    摘要: The potential for an unreliable indication of a tripped overload relay is eliminated in a trip mechanism for an overload relay that includes a housing, and armature mounted in the housing for movement between two contact opening or closing positions, fixed contacts in the housing and moveable contacts engageable by the armature to be moved thereby toward and away from the fixed contacts and. A moveable lever is associated with the armature and is operable to shift the armature from one of the contact opening or closing positions to the other of the contact opening or closing positions. An operator for the lever is moveable toward and away from the lever and carries a spring finger. The spring finger is engageable with the lever to cause the lever to shift the armature between the positions. The spring finger is moveable with the operator in a path from a first position disengaged from the lever to a second position engaged with the lever and then to a third position disengaged from the lever. A cocking surface is carried by the housing adjacent the path to be engaged by the spring finger as it moves from the first position toward the second position to load the spring finger sufficiently that upon the finger obtaining the second position, it will contain sufficient stored energy to cause a shift of the armature.
