摘要： A dual energy storage operating mechanism of an isolating switch is provided. A first energy storage mechanism and a second energy storage mechanism are provided between an input wheel and a housing and between the input wheel and an output wheel or a first output shaft, respectively. The output wheel is provided with a limiting mechanism. The limiting mechanism forms a locking effect on the output wheel when the first energy storage mechanism stores energy, thereby enabling the second energy storage mechanism to store energy at the same time. When the first energy storage mechanism starts to release energy, the locking effect of the limiting mechanism is released, so that the output wheel and the first output shaft can rotate, and the first energy storage mechanism and the second energy storage mechanism release energy at the same time, forming a dual energy storage boosting effect.

摘要： A snap-action overcenter contact mechanism utilizes a spring-loaded apexed plunger depressibly cammed within a rockable actuator block. The plunger rides in tracks in the block which ensure registered pivotal movement of the block and plunger, and also guides the plunger for depression within the block perpendicular to the pivotal axis thereof. A cam, which may be in the form of a roller mounted to a linearly sliding operator or a toggle lever operator, traverses the plunger to depress the plunger within the block against the bias of compression springs. When the cam translationally crosses the apex of the plunger, the stored energy of the springs is released, and the plunger and block pivot to an alternate position. A positive off feature is also disclosed wherein secondary cams formed on the operator strike the block to force it to pivot to an off position if the first cam has crossed the apex of the plunger and the block has not pivoted to the off position.

摘要： An operating mechanism for a circuit breaker including a frame, a spring shaft mounted on the frame and rotatable around a central axis thereof, a spring case having a notch in an outer periphery thereof and rotatable around the central axis, a rotating spring provided in the spring case and having a first end secured to the spring shaft and a second end secured to the spring case, a cam secured to the spring shaft and rotatable along with the spring shaft, and a catch rotatably mounted on the spring case. The catch is at an original position at the notch inside the outer periphery of the spring case by a spring. The operating mechanism further includes a charging device for rotating the spring case to charge the rotating spring and a control lever rotatably mounted on the frame and having an end portion engaged with the cam, the catch and the outer periphery of the spring case for performing closing and opening control of the charging device. The spring shaft is rotated by a driving force of the rotating spring for causing the control lever to perform the closing control of the charging device. The spring case is rotated by the charging device to charge the rotating spring for causing the control lever to perform the opening control of the charging device.

摘要： An operating mechanism for a manually operated load break switch having an over center spring drive moved by an operating handle to open and close the switch. The operating mechanism includes a shaft rotatable by the operating handle, a follower rotatably mounted on the shaft, an elongated forked plate pivotally mounted intermediate its length to the follower at a location radially outwardly of the shaft, an operating lever for the switch pivotally mounted on the shaft and movable by engagement with the follower and a driver affixed to the shaft for rotation therewith and positioned to engage and rotate the follower and the forked plate. An over center spring drive is pivotally connected to the forked plate at a location radially outwardly of the pivotal mounting of the forked plate to the follower. This mechanism permits the over center spring drive to be moved between fully closed and fully opened conditions of the switch by rotation of the operating handle while preventing alignment of the shaft, the pivotal mounting of the forked plate to the follower and the over center spring drive pivotal mounting to the forked plate when the spring drive reaches its fully compressed condition.
